Introducing Unit7, a reinterpretation of dance music where futurism and nostalgia are no longer distinct. Their WRHSmusic imprint represents everything they stand for, tunes that bring people together wherever in an environment with cause to forget the outside world for those early hours and move to a beat... until they cant move anymore. 

Mark and Luke have lived the UK music scene from a young age, and have latched their allegiance to the thing they love most; music made for warehouses big and small that unite people with a groove and a shared imperative to dance together. It’s a vision that pushes the boundaries without restrictive pigeonholes, whilst giving a respectful nod to the foundations of the entire electronic music scene.

“If there’s anything were trying to say its that electronic music in all its form is built for a purpose, and DJing is a responsibility. Its not always about proving a point, its not for ego and forced appreciation, it’s a responsibility to help people understand why producers produce, why labels release and why bloggers blog. We know what makes people dance and fall in love with music, because we do too, every day and every night, and we want to share that purism with everyone we are lucky enough to play to”

Upcoming releases share this outlook. Each forthcoming track is crafted for the dancefloor, drawing on their favourite elements of electronic music past and present with remixers that support this ethic.

Having played around the world under a previous alias, reactions have always played a front seat role in their musical output, which is what has lead to this reinterpretation. Whilst time goes on, artists come and go and names change, their outlook has done neither and Unit7 is a pledge of allegiance to this simple mantra. Gordon Huntley & Erick Muise joined forces as Botnek back in 2008 in Halifax, Nova Scotia through a shared love for house music. With a shortage of inspiration in the form of nightclubs and generally an unlikely scene for the quiet seaside Canadian town, Gordon & Erick bonded over Ableton tips, dance music blogs and late night radio shows on BBC Radio 1. Soon after forming a strong friendship through similar musical interests, the project was formed, which led to a string of releases with a number of up & coming fidget & electro house labels. The guys landed a couple of key remix opportunities from this early buzz around the project from names including Crookers, AC Slater, Felix Cartal & Jack Beats. In this first chapter of their careers, the duo toured first in Europe and Asia, in clubs such as Fabric, Sub Club, and Bootshaus.

It wasn't much longer until Dim Mak Records & Steve Aoki were interested in signing the project to the label. From the signing to Dim Mak came a number of singles & EPs, tours in America, and their viral edit of Martin Garrix’s hit “Animals”. The duo gained far more attention from this than ever expected, and started the next chapter in their career. Shifting styles into more main stage ready Electro House and Big Room, the duo began touring internationally. More singles for Dim Mak followed, along with another viral remix.  This time for The Chainsmokers' “#SELFIE”, which really put Botnek on the map. Collaborations with Zedd, 3lau, Loudpvck & Snails soon followed as well as an even heavier touring schedule. Since then, Botnek have toured the globe in almost every continent, have played on some of the biggest festival stages in the world including Tomorrowland, Ultra Music Festival, Coachella, Electric Daisy Carnival & more, and have done a Las Vegas residency with Steve Aoki.

Almost a decade later, in the summer of 2017, the Botnek boys reached a major turning point. The once dance music class clowns felt an urge to evolve their sound; to shift the project away from the festival Big Room sound, and back to the roots of the project.  After years of touring, both Gordon & Erick realized they had almost subconsciously stopped creating the kind of music that had originally fueled the formation of Botnek in the first place, all those years ago in Halifax. It was time for the next chapter in their careers and they decided to take a leap. They released a song called "Don't Need U" on their own independent label imprint World Famous Headquarters. The track had the quirky house sound they bonded over when they first met and shared such a deep love for. From there, the duo has released a number of tracks in this musical vein, each one a deeper dive back into the diverse & ever-expanding world of house music.

In 2018, Botnek decided to take things a step further with this World Famous Headquarters imprint by launching a monthly radioshow. They launched World Famous Radio in partnership with SiriusXM’s Insomniac Radio, as a sort of homage to the radio shows they first loved on BBC Radio 1. After fully realizing the amount of talent existing amongst their peers and the next generation of young producers, the guys opened up the doors of the World Famous Headquarters label to outside artists for the first time in the fall of 2018. The label's sound will consist of Botnek's filter of wacky house music inspired by those early fidget & electro house days Gordon & Erick are still so inspired by today.

Whether you're into bass heavy house, moombahton, dubstep or drum & bass, Brimmer is the name delivering bass in all genres. Bursting onto the scene back in 2009 with his remix for Sidney Samson on CR2 records as well as having tracks on Jack Knife, Freek, Rooster and his own label JANK. 

Since the success of his ‘Enya - Orinoco flow’ remix he has had continued support from Radio 1 with Kissy Sell Out crediting him as ‘an awesome producer breaking through’ and Judge Jules branding him as ‘the one to look out for’. Jack Beats, Boy 8 Bit, Calvertron and Will Bailey have also shown their support. 2011 has already seen a busy year with remixes for Kissy Sell Out's label San City High Records as well as remixing for Ministry Of Sound.

After 12 years in the game, Kissy Sell Out continues to be one of the most influential and globally respected names of the British dance music industry. With fresh projects evolving in 2018 as the label manager of Stepper Man and Lengoland, his bass house productions and world-class DJ mixing talents have forged the start of a second chapter in his vibrant and prestigious career. 

With his critically-acclaimed new album as KSO called “Style From The Westside” – described by UKF as “the realest bassline album you’ll hear all year” – Kissy has used his wealth of experience to shred up every old habit and signature sound he has honed in the past and re-written the rule book of electronic music production yet again. 

The list of collaborators featuring on the album reads like a who’s who of heavy-hitters in the current bassline and bass house scenes; including DJ Q, Darkzy, Dread MC, Pavv, JG, Tengu, Sam Supplier, J69, Jaikea, and The Wideboys. 

KSO’s lists of achievements in the music industry and public-eye are as long as they are astounding. He started at the tender age of 21 working on official game-changing remixes for A-list pop-stars such as Mark Ronson, Calvin Harris and Gwen Stefani (all while he was still at London’s Central Saint Martins art college), and went on to find success across the globe as an influential taste-maker at BBC Radio 1, global brand ambassador for Pioneer DJ, regular tour support act for The Prodigy and Fatboy Slim, as well as a unique music industry personality and public figure who can claim to have debated against Stephen Fry at Cambridge University and composed official music for the 2012 London Olympics ceremonies in Trafalgar Square and Buckingham Palace.
