Our new Klangwelt.FM invites is by no other than Kris Davis, who quickly rocketed to labels like Young Alaska, Conaisseur, Needwant or Crossfrontier with his hypnotic style collecting an tremendous amount of followers around him in a short time. We are happy to have him for the next EP remixing Ryan Davis feat. Lmnskt - Kope, for now lean back and enjoy his exclusive podcast for us.

"With a love for analogue sounds, meticulous production skills and a flair for crafting intricate soundscapes, Kris Davis is focused on stamping his ambient techno mark on his music.
Since the release of his first EP, ​Closer,​on ​Subjekt Recordings in 2014, Kris has caused quite a stir in the underground community with his unique, emotive style. His subsequent remix of Affect’s ​Akaria drew huge support from BBC Radio 1’s B.Traits and his ​Cult EP on Stefan Z’s ​Rhombus, gained accolades from a wealth of stellar artists, including &ME and Maceo Plex. The standout ​Relentless released on Just Her’s ​Constant Circles label was again supported by B.Traits on BBC Radio 1 at the beginning of 2015.
Last year Kris went from strength to strength as both a producer and performer, playing alongside some of the best DJs in the world. This year the momentum is snowballing, having already gained support from Pete Tong for his ​Bleak EP on Christian Loffler’s well­respected ​Young Alaska imprint. Future releases include an EP on Alex Niggeman’s ​Soulfooled,​and remixes for Parquet and Jeudi. I’m sure there is no doubt in anyone’s mind that Kris Davis is set for big things in 2016!"

Sunset Grooves back from vacation with plenty of energy. Podcast 120 with cantanca, a wonderful selector having provided mixes for excellent podcast friends such as Schirmchendrink, Deepist, Serenades or even Sonido Tropico, he is no stranger to putting together carefully crafted sets. Having founded a number of radio stations such as Lounge FM and a integral part to festivals such as Chill Out Festival in Turkey, he is highly regarded in the underground world of deep tech groovy music.

The unstoppable Basti Grub is back with more of his micro-excellence, this time with his first solo EP on the Aprapta Music label. He offers two more deeply involving tracks that get you moving. 

Opener Just Dance is warm and atmospheric, with muffled vocals and trippy little effects filling in the airwaves as a deeply buried minimal rhythm rolls below. It’s late night freaky music of the highest order. Angel is more propulsive, with slick kicks and claps and icy hi hats all running through with a truly weird vocal that brings edginess and paranoia to the groove. All round an excellent EP once more.

Premiere: Basti Grub - Angel [Aprapta Music]

2019 was the year that was my life and music changer. Finally, I found myself and the path to follow. The last gig at House Szkolna in Poznań was the best way to show my love for those shamanic tunes. I was super lucky to have a big crowd following this passion. 

So I am proud to present almost 5 hours of tribal, deep, melodic and "whatever you can name it" house.
