Meraki is an instrumental project. Meraki is a term which describes the act of an artist leaving a piece of their soul in their work. Through making these instrumental pieces this is what I am trying to achieve.

Described as laid back and melodic, Sam’s style is influenced by everything she listens to, jazz, improvised music, progressive rock, finger-style guitar... After releasing her first solo electric guitar EP Into a Heart in 2017, Sam released the ECMA and Music Nova Scotia nominated 'Jazz album of the year', Groundless Apprehensions. A self-described “sonic memoir”, Sam has created compositions that reflect on the past and process it through music. Into a Heart: Part II, an extended edition of her 2017 EP, will be released on January 29th, 2021.
