looking up to the open sky and laughing at my own premise
keeping a port open on its crest, a preface to nothing i've come to rest

it's true that we are what we've read, a memory with no end
deep inside the hostile mind, a friendly face that is warm and kind

with psycho syllogistic range, passing endless through the maze
ya ain't shit til the moon shine on ya, after rain falls and the birds flew

awoken by my own penchant for lips on skin in wet cement
howling wishes out of tune, in sun through fog after a moon smudge

dancing with my own blown smoke, my skull sewed to a webcam
and blowing kisses at the moon, if i come home it won't be soon
