Presenting their first ever collaboration, Saintbull and Guuse debut on Musique de Lune's Noire division with 'Looking For The Rain'. Based in Spain and Argentina respectively, both Saintbull and Guuse have made their mark on the electronic underground. This superb Brazilian label just keeps delivering the goods, and here we launch into 2019 with a fine EP from Sanio & Zarth.

Sanio & Zarth are a Nuremberg DJ duet composed by Erhan & Leo. One, with turkish roots who has grown up in Germany, the other born and raised in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.

The original of Maquina features Deborah Evelyn's spoken vocals, that create an air of mystique, over a hypnotic and percussive afro tinged vibe, full of groove and sophistication. plus theres a dub, if the vocal isn't for you. Either way - it's a real winner.

The uber talented Florian Kruse steps up on remix duties, taking things deeper, but with a real swagger and drive. Moody and cool, and fully utilises the vocals, this is a damn fine reworking from this ever reliable producer.

The second original 'Valesti' is a brooding melodious affair with a bubbling bassline and plenty of energy, before dropping to a haunting piano layered breakdown, before its throbbing return.

label favourite Althoff returns on remix duties, having also seen his work grace This and That and Rancido. A tasty re-touch utilising the percussion to the maximum, and really bringing out the dramatic-ness of the piano in the breakdown, making this a very tasty alternative mix.

This week we welcome, Nuremberg duo, Sanio & Zarth. Leo was born and raised in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, and is half german. Erhan, on the other hand, was born and raised in Germany and has turkish parents. The two got to know each other during their studies and decided to produce music together. The different origins surprisingly produced a consensus in the music and so they founded the event series, Hertz & Seele.

Höhenfliegerei 

Dort oben sei die Luft unverbraucht und klar. Leider ist diese Weisheit nur zur Hälfte wahr. Der Weg dorthin bedarf einer Menge Ausdauer und Kraft. Das ist auch der Grund, weshalb es nicht jeder nach oben schafft. 

Aller Anfang ist schwer, doch ich fliege hochmotiviert und unbedacht dem Zug hinterher. Es fühlt sich so leicht an, mit meinen fedrigen Schwingen und ich beginne mit den anderen im Chor zu singen. Wir steigen höher und es wird kalt. Meine Reserven sind sichtlich aufgebraucht, ich bin einfach ausgelaugt. Deshalb lasse ich jetzt los und segle wieder runter in Richtung Wald. 

Ich kann die Baumwipfel schon erahnen, nun sehe ich sie auch. Wenn ich weiter falle, verletze ich mir mindestens den Bauch. Also raffe ich mich auf. Wer fliegen und fallen kann, steht am Ende gefälligst wieder auf. 

Der heutige Podcast verkörpert die Ruhe selbst. Entspannte Songs reihen sich spielend leicht aneinander und geleiten den Hörer langsam und in aller Seelenruhe  durch das Set. 63 Minuten zum wohligen abschalten und prokrastinieren vom Alltagsleben.
