There will always be differences and points of contention. These can destroy us or make us stronger and better. I think the path we choose here depends on face to face discussions, exchanging ideas and recognizing there are many ways to exist that are not mutually exclusive

everyone has to find their own peace

to me they are nothing but shadows in your head

you say it just brings cold and darkness

you look at a person and see black red or white
I see a father and a brother and a wife
you hold your cell phone like it's your heart and soul
yet I can walk in a forest  and won't be alone

if we want world peace and brotherhood of man
then there's two ways to get there from where I am
we can learn to live together knowing that makes us strong
or keep killing each other till we are all together gone

can we both be right or are we both really wrong
to think that the other is too far gone
or should we accept that differences exist
so learn from each other

I was listening to this piece recently and thought that It may translate to electric bass. This is my interpretation played on my Peavey bass.
Another in my 'fools rush in' series : )
Just discovered that a search on youtube turns up loads of electric bass players performing this piece! There is nothing new in this world. Most are playing it an octave higher though, which seems a cop out : )
