Growing up in families where music—especially classical and jazz—was integral, these genres have profoundly influenced their musical journey. With deep respect for composer Bart Howard and the iconic performances by Frank Sinatra, they present their rendition of the classic "Fly Me to the Moon." The song was carefully arranged, recorded, and mixed to capture the authentic sound of its era, as if you were hearing it played from a vintage vinyl record. The warm, rich tones, subtle analog imperfections, and classic big band jazz mix create an atmosphere that transports you back to the golden age of jazz, making it feel like a timeless recording from the 1950s.This version reflects OMGG Band's unique style while honoring the song's rich legacy. Special thanks to The Big Time Jazz Band in Helsinki for their magnificent backing, and to Gigi, OMGG's vocalist trained in jazz and opera, who delivers a heartfelt performance. Tensions in Paradise

I always think of Saint Patrick’s Day here in the US as a celebration of the social graces as they involve drinking. We drink together, we laugh and cry together, and friendships typically grow like flowers from those barroom and “parlor” floors. With the big day just a couple weeks away now I wanted to contribute something that expresses my attachment to the many fast friends I hold dear. I dedicate this one to my closest friend who is departed too soon, Rich. Cheers.
