Park Hill - a vast brutalist complex built in the early 1960s with over 900 apartments arranged on 13 levels with 'street' access for every front door. Awarded special listed status in 1998 this megastructure had suffered from deterioration and social problems despite Its initial popularity. Who would have foreseen such a transformation?....indeed a brutalist dream!!

The image is taken in the Nagarkot region just south east of the flood. You get an idea of the topography involved here. Once something happens near the peaks there's a very long way down for gravity to cause mayhem
