Vintage Days

There is a world within me that defies logic, is beyond explanation…it creates and floats and soars, and it is not a part of my mortal physical self. And yet, energies found here on earth can set my inner world alight…where the heavens above are mirrored within.  To catch this energy, so much alignment in the real world is necessary, but it is not impossible.  What does this new energy sound like?  Who has pushed it out of me?  Where is it going next?  

My dear Ángel (my divine twin who passed away recently) said to me, ‘M, the wind doesn’t always blow the sails. There is a time for rest.’ My answer to him was, ‘When the wind disappears, I create it myself. I, and only I, am responsible for my own wind.’

I am the center of the energy, always have been, always will be…but I welcome and am always grateful for those who contribute and make it wild…a wild intense ride…

A Love Lesson

We wrote this song for Tota Kaneko who passed away a couple of days ago, and was one of the greatest modern haiku poets. Also, he's from Ogawamachi, the place where we used to live, and lived in Chichibu, a place we love full of majestic nature. He was vocal against the Abe government and many protestors used his calligraphy on their protest signs. We loosely translated one of his haikus as "Wake up there might be a war, so wander in the flower fields." We wrote this as a song for FAWM.
