It’s been a while since we put out any music by Goldfat founder Mitekiss. In that time he’s carved out a name for himself working with titan labels such as Shogun Audio and Hospital Records, who released two albums showing Mitekiss as a true artist who digs deep and brings heart and emotion to his sound.

It’s no surprise then that for his first outings back with the label he started he has delivered two stunning works of that melancholy soul he does so well. 

Following with ‘Smashed Lies’ Mitekiss continues his exploration of icy terrains. The drums cut through with ease and clarity bringing some heat as the bass offers space for life’s contemplations. Primal music for the winter season!

Two artists that have found a home for their exquisite sonic palettes on Shogun Audio, Pola & Bryson and Emily Makis now serve up some of their most captivating work to date. Titled 'Phoneline', this latest offering collates Emily's mesmerising vocal capabilities and songwriting with the masterful production of one of drum and bass' most talented production duos.

Following on from a monstrous 2022's in which Pola & Bryson released 'Tell You What I Did', which went into rotation on Radio 1's playlist, and remixed the likes of David Guetta, VenBee, and High Contrast, 'Phoneline' sees them link up with a future superstar and the most exciting and compelling vocalist in drum and bass music in Emily Makis.
A frenzy of drums, plucks, synth work, and vocals that all co-exist in a sphere that's equal in its vast quantities of tension, power, and beauty, 'Phoneline' is a serious statement from both artists that'll resonate with listeners in the dance just as much as it will with those hearing it at home.

It's not often that songs like this come around - we can't wait to share this one with the world.

After six years with seminal label Metalheadz, building his reputation through a steady output of Soulful Drum & Bass, Lenzman is about to embark on a new journey: launching his own label.

The North Quarter, named after the neighbourhood where he grew up, will be an outlet for both
his own productions as well as music by like minded individuals, who share a love and dedication for all things soulful. Naturally its first release is a Lenzman EP: ‘All For You’.

Taking everything that has shaped him musically and has meant something to him over the years, Lenzman is combining these ingredients to create something heartfelt. Music with imperfections,
born in heartache and pain, joy and laughter; a human celebration. Something far beyond container concepts like ‘Drum & Bass’. A classic attitude shaped in 21st century interpretations, a beautiful struggle if you will. After making the move to Saskatoon, Canada, Embers of Light has found new inspiration in creating his musical masterpieces.  The "You're the Real One EP", is an example of what the outstanding artist is capable of effortlessly whipping up in the studio.  He seems to draw inspiration from the cold weather and beautiful scenery, mix that together with his extraordinary talent, and voila!!  With recent releases on 4 Corners and Soul Deep Recordings, Embers of Light has been making a name for himself as one of the Liquid producers to watch.  "You're the Real One", kicks things off with its chunky drums, shimmering pads, haunting vocals, and serious bassline that fits the groove like a glove.  "Electric Smile", rounds out the EP in style with its snappy drums, laid back Rhodes sample, edgy Reese bassline, and epic vocals.
