Eventually, I managed to bring my brain cells together and dedicate the time to complete this one, and now it is finally out. I hope you enjoy it as much as I enjoyed bringing it to life :)

What unites us — humans with all kinds of dreams, deep and personal feelings, the way we perceive life and the way we actually live it? How do we notice that invisible connection and feel each other in space and time? Music collected on this page is perhaps one of those invisible connections, for it’s really hard to find an answer to the question of how artists from the most diverse parts of the globe, performing beyond all genres and stereotypes, gather music they love or play live an hour-long mix, and people on the other side of the world are actually loving it. No less a question is how come we propose @francaplays to be a part of this project and why she accepts our invitation. Such questions do not and will not have answers, so we better stop asking them altogether.

This is the set I played on Monday Morning from 7.30-10am in Räuberhöhle at Fusion 2019.. 
I have to be honest, this gig was one of the most challenging I have ever played. After all, what can you still add after 5 days and nights of amazing music, performances, art and beautiful connections ? Adding on top of that my own state after having been on site from the start.. it made for some serious pre-gig thoughts of „whats this gonna be like“. But when I stepped into the madness that is Räuberhöhle on a Monday Morning, all was forgotten. It’s hard to put into words the energy of the crowd during those 2,5 hours.. like last year, I had a hard time stopping to smile. Thank you to all the dancers and to the Räuberhöhle crew for making this amazing little techno kitchen boil over with such energy from start to finish <3

„Ein gutes Dutzend Doppelwhopper mit extra Klimbims“, tönen die Stimmen hungrig im Diggy-Land. „Zum Hierhören oder Einpacken?“ schallt es hinüber und keiner lässt da gerne auf sich warten. In Windeseile stehen sie da, höchst gespannt, denn Forgetti Regretti (https://soundcloud.com/forgetti_regretti) lässt uns und die staunende Brigade mit treibenden, melodischen und teils verspielten Melodien gen Herbst schlawenzeln. Gespickt mit allerlei Gesang und echtem Inhalt bekommt man das Gefühl, genau hier irgendwie an irgendwas erinnert zu werden. Im Jargon rundet sie jetzt schon ab, was im frühen Winter gehört werden wird und wird zur Wegleiterin in eine überzeugende Richtung. Welch ein wunderbarer Grund zum Anstoßen. Wir heben unseren Fako auf Eis und jubeln Julia frenetisch zu. Wer von euch ist auch schon gespannt, welch Schmuckstück sie als Schatzsucherin demnächst ausgraben wird und zur Winterszeit aus‘m Hut zaubert? 

Viel Spaß euch da draußen, lasst den Alltag mal Alltag sein, verwirrend ist hier ausnahmsweise mal gar nichts. Liebe Menschen, genießt mit uns Forgetti Regrettis „Epochales Herbstgescherbel“…

Franz Tanzt. Franz tanzt, weil er über den Dingen steht. Weil er sich freut, auf gemütliche Herbsttage, rote Blätter, warme Getränke, einfach auf den Rest des so holprig verlaufenen Jahres. Und aus Protest. Aus Protest vor Leugnern, Schwindlern, Miesepetern. Damit all jene, die mit lauten Rufen und Gegröhle Dinge fordern, die gegen Menschlichkeit, Gesundheit und sozialen Anstand verstoßen sehen, dass es auch eine andere Seite gibt. Das es Menschen gibt, die zusammenhalten, die Geduld beweisen und solidarisch handeln. Dafür steht Franz. Und deshalb tanzt er.

Tschu Tschuu! Alles angeschnallt! Die Weichen sind gestellt und die Stellwerk-Lok rollt langsam los. Endhaltestelle: Lummerland.

Auf der ersten Etappe unserer Reise werden wir von einem unserer hauseigenen Lokführer, Bene Link, gefahren. Mit seinem zunehmend treibenden Fahrstil sorgt er dafür, dass sich die Lok kurzzeitig in eine Weltraumrakete verwandelt. Doch bevor wir abheben, gleiten die Wagons gemächlich durch das schöne Nürnberg, in dem auch unser Bene zu Hause ist. Kaum raus aus der Stadt, startet er die Rakete mit treibendem Sound in Richtung Atmosphäre. Zügig, aber mit der von ihm gewohnten, melodischen
Gelassenheit. Auf dem Weg nach oben, scheppert er uns eine Ladung Progressive House mit einer Prise Breaktbeats um die Ohren, welche uns kurzzeitig in den Orient versetzt. Beim Blick aus dem Fenster fällt auf: wir überfliegen Asien. Gerade versunken in die süßen Klänge des Orients, zieht uns sein drückender Sound den Boden unter den Füßen weg. Dunkle Klänge, gepaart mit einem Hauch von Disco, lassen unsere Füße zappeln. Beim Landeanflug heißt es wieder: Anschnallen. Mystische Stimmen geben uns vor, was zu tun ist. Die Gurte sind festgezurrt und drücken uns tief in den Sitz. Noch vollkommen in Trance, landen wir mit dem Spaceship seicht auf den Gleisen und legen eine Vollbremsung ein.
Erster Halt: Tal der Dämmerung.
Alles sitzen bleiben!
