Hello everyone, here is the edit of the recording of my gig at the Two Years of Mystic Creatures @mystic-tales-berlin party last Saturday. It was amazing to be back to the booth after such a long and dark winter, and especially to play and dance surrounded of old and new friends in a party that felt like a festival.

I really enjoyed playing and was also delighted by the reactions, with many track id and Soundcloud requests… And still had the pleasure to share the booth and briefly meet @marthavanstraaten, a very dear person. Only the thought of it all already makes me look forward to the next one :)

Thank you very much @goldmund01 and @heyoka_berlin for the invitation. It’s been a long time coming to finally play at your parties, but the debut couldn’t have been better.

And it’s not so easy to see in the picture, but I’d like to leave for the record that I’m wearing my brand new Lusatia Festival t-shirt, gift of my friend @allanfeytor.

We are less than a month away from Lusatia, a brand new festival that I’m helping organize with @lapachamusic, together with Mystic Creatures, @love-foundation and Wilde Möhre, at the end of August. Looking forward to seeing everybody there!

ABER - it looks like there’ll be something else before that, early August, in a forest near you, so stay tuned for the next adventure announcement :)

Born in Chile, Manu Ela is a multi-faceted artist based now in Berlin. Handling the brush as an illustrator as well as the needle as a tattoo artist, she also sings in an acoustic show with her ukulele and her pan flute and produces music in a self-taught way. Inspired always by the nature, she has found an own original style in the slow electronic music, collaborating nowadays with friends and artists such as Monkyman, Leeu, Dan Bay, Rodrigo Gallardo, Barda, Carla Valenti, Omeria and much more. Her lyrics are always in order to heal herself and as a consecuence of this magic process spread it to the the world.

The rāga saga is a brand new series I have started to act as a cultural collectiva of my favourite artists from all across, Each raga is an array of melodic structures with musical motifs, considered in the Indian tradition to have the ability to "color the mind" and affect the emotions of the audience and this journey (raga) comes straight from Bordeaux, France from a dear dear friend @ackssek
Jack has been a true inspiration for me since I started on my path of music. I often use his tracks in my sets and absolutely love his style.
This set will take you on a divine, mystical, wild and free ride to an inner world that you are accustomed to yet is something new.
This odyssey has a lot of South American influence in terms of instruments and tonalities used, but is still very global in nature. I absolutely love the vibes here, find out for yourself how I mean! :)

 Ka:lu  is an  artist that focuses his works on audiovisual installation, big projections, vjing, music production and djing.
   
   His journey into music starts at age 15 when he got the famous technics 1200; in 1999 he moves in Rome where he enters the Drum and Bass underground scene, getting involved in the Italian bass culture for years jumping from a Dj to a vj consolle; during this time he also keep exploring audiovisuals languages and electronic music production having the chance to perform in many parties, festivals and events in Italy and at international level too (Holland, Germany, Spain, Canaries, England, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland, Norway and Iran).
 Moving from the city to the green hills in the center Italy, after some years of being off from music, he returns back on djing and production looking for different sounds such as deep techno, downtempo, dubtech, slowtech, ethno, tropical, meditative, multicultural.   
 Through his arts, as in music, he always tries to express the believe into sounds as universal language, a way to get in meditation, a tool to understand where we are coming from, where we are, where we are going. Any of his creation always has a story behind that aims to deliver aesthetic journeys providing an immersive experiences for heterogeneous audiences.  
 His oeuvre are a mix between digital image/sound and different materials such as iron, fabrics, wood.
His artistic approach is the result of a learning by doing.
His works are the way to show and express the achievement connected to life he is facing daily.
He is always looking for beauty and aesthetics results that can be an immersive experience for a miscellaneous of audience.
