Took the fretless out for the first time in ages since I wanted to see if I can use it for a cover/arrangement I've been thinking about. When warming up I recorded this short bit. 

This guitar was my first ever electric guitar that came as part of a starter guitar pack from Stagg. It originally had a thick deep see through blue colour that me and my dad stripped down to the base layer. Also he helped me taking out the frets later on and fill the gaps up with resin (thank you dad:)). At some point I installed a 1979 DiMarzio X2N that I got off ebay -- actually the oldest piece of guitar related stuff I own. 

I'm using the Bluguitar Amp1 here along with the Fairfield Circuitry "Shallow Water" and the Mooer A7 for the rever, as well as some reverb in Ableton Live. 

I'm really fed up with the hiss coming from the mixer. Before I start recording my next release I really need to take a look at some good mid-size consoles. Any recommendations?
