Debut DJ Set at Escobar Koh Tao – A Journey of Sound, Soul & Unity

My debut live DJ set at Escobar Koh Tao was far more than just a performance, it was a spiritual homecoming, a sacred exchange of energy through rhythm and sound. Nestled deep in the heart of the island’s lush jungle, surrounded by towering palms and the gentle whispers of the tropical ocean breeze, Escobar is a TEMPLE of MUSIC unlike any other. With five stages radiating different frequencies, I was honoured to take the reins of the underground electronic techno stage during peak hours, a space where the raw, pulsing heartbeat of the earth met the infinite sky.

From the moment I arrived, carried by boat across glowing waters, there was a feeling of stepping into something timeless, as though the jungle itself was alive and listening. As I took to the decks, I felt the energy shift, not just within me, but within the crowd. Dancers from every corner of the globe moved together, not as strangers, but as one living organism connected by sound, breath and vibration. There were no borders, no language, only rhythm and the collective heartbeat of the dancefloor.

This experience was the beginning of a beautiful journey, guided by the kind invitation of Noom, the visionary soul behind Escobar. His openness and passion have made each return to this sacred space a gift, a chance to reconnect with something deeper, both within and beyond myself.

That night reminded me of the true power of music, to heal, to unify and to awaken. I carry the spirit of that set with me always, as a reminder that the dancefloor is more than a place, it’s a magic portal.

A dream came true when Sascha was signed to the artist agency Toxic8, which employs no fewer artists than Carl Cox, Ben Delay, Dosem, Simon Baker, Sharam Jay, Joe T Vanelli, Antoine Clamaran and more.

In 1998 Sascha Beek began DJ’ing and producing.
Musically he is very broad and in addition to melodic Deep House tracks, he produces pumping Techno - or fresh Disco - and House tunes – quality music for every taste.
From 2007 to 2012 he had many of his own party series, including HouseSounds Deluxe and GlamHouse Nights - he was an integral part of the club scene. 
Huge events followed, such as the Sputnik Spring Break or the Electric Mountain Festival in Sölden, where Sascha performed with acts like Format B, Deichkind, Fritz Kalkbrenner, Moonbootika, Timo Maas or Martin Solveig on huge stages.
After winning three remix contests, he has finally found his place in the world of music. In 2015, the Berlin label 1103 Musik released Sascha´s first Album “Einklang”. Radio guest plays, interviews, requests for remixes and in the meantime bookings all over Europe are now part of Sascha Beek daily life. 
Now, with well over 300 releases on Record labels such as Budenzauber, Be Free Recordings or 1980Recordings, Sascha had many creative collaborations and produced remixes for artists such as Dan McKie, Niklas Thal, Tertia May, Andy Himself, Final Assembly, Igor Highway, Strukturklang, Manuel Moreno , Shimmer, Roman Beise, Taach, Gagh a.m.m. - where he left his unmistakable sound in every song.
