Looney Moon Records is back with Costa Rican producer R2.

Costa Rican producer, Arturo Oreamuno has been inextricably linked to music production and the psychedelic scene since the year 2000. His experimental approach to the research and investigation of sound production culminated in the launch of his project, ‘R2’ – a proper live act featuring synths and devices. The artist classifies his music as ‘twilight psytrance with lots of glitchy, funky, powerful sounds and good energy, perfect for the early hours of the night or for blasting in the mornings.’ R2 has played at several events including: Archipielago festival, Geo Paraside, Psychedelic Nomads Festival, Spirit Base Festival, Mo.Dem festival. He has also released his music on interesting compilations from: Looney Boom, MO:DEM Festival and Life Festival. Signed to Looney Moon Records, he looks forward to spreading his music and energy far and wide.

Looney Moon Records series presents SECTION 8, the latest project of DJ Paul Taylor.

A dynamic fresh new sound drawing from Paul’s 20 years of DJ’ing and Production experience.
A full tilt hybrid of layered psychedelic textures underpinned by rock solid tribalistic techno based grooves.

Paul’s many influences and his love of many styles of dance music, (such as tribal techno and twilight psychedelic trance) has all been seamlessly merged into one completely original and unique sound ; set to ignite dancefloors Worldwide in the upcoming season.

Section 8’s debut E.P to be released on Kundalini Records U.K in December 2014, followed shortly after by a second E.P for Looney Moon Records Italy.

Paul Taylor began his DJ’ing career as a DAT dj in the season of ’96 in Goa. Travelling back and forth between Goa and the U.K , he spent the late nineties running a Trance record shop on London’s Portobello Road. By 1998 Paul had began to play for some of London’s major party groups:- (Kundalini, Escape From Samsara, Enlightenment etc),and was rapidly gaining a following within the booming U.K scene of the time. In 2000 he joined TIPWorld records as a label DJ/Co A&R ,and for the next two years became to be known internationally, as both a TIP DJ, and for his track selection on compilations. In 2002, he left London to live in Ibiza , and spent the next 3 years co-producing music with artists such as Earthling, Soundaholics, CampoSonic (Earthing, Bushman and Paul Taylor). Whilst in Ibiza he also joined Spun Records as Label Dj and A&R, and compiled the top selling Spun Compilation:’Tweakers’. Paul has co-produced many tracks with some of the leading artists in the scene such as Earthling, Wizzy Noise, Joti Sidhu and Psysex. His DJ compilations include Time and Space 1&2 (Maia Recs. Mexico), Tweakers (Spun), Freedom Fighters (Crystal Matrix Recs).

Synchronicity is a significant coincidence between psychic and physical events. They are phenomena such as: thoughts, numbers and intuitions that arise from the unconscious and that leads us to reflect and seek an understanding about coincident events. Fortuity or not, may be considered a delusion of someone who feeds a supernatural expectation of existence, but it can also be the glimpse of a bright mind far ahead of its time. Synkronic is the manifestation of these enigmatic phenomena transformed into a sonorous frequency that allows to induce the understanding and the awakening of the consciousness.
The project is the second creation of the Brazilian music producer, David Caramello, and has existed since 2014. Unlike his other project, Diksha, the Synkronic is a bit slower and has its more codified compositions, glitzy vocals and a single sound. The project is also part of the select group of artists of the Italian label, Looney Moon Records, and is firmly on tour around the world. Countries such as Mexico, France, Croatia, Germany, Portugal and South Africa have already received presentations by the artist.

In the grand mosaic of Psytrance, the heart-pounding Full-on and Foresty Dark Twilight are my compass points, the North Star to my sonic exploration. However, my musical treasure chest is diverse, and I revel in the crossroads where beats merge and melodies entwine.

Here's where the tale takes an intriguing turn - I've not just been charting my own course but have also found my anchor with Organik Circus Records, where the groovier and darker tunes harmonize. The core of this partnership resonates with my mythical, mystical ethnic roots, enriched by a decade of European immersion.

As I thread the line between ancient mysteries and futuristic soundscapes, my quest continues. I'm forever open to collaborative harmonies, to dance on different stages, and to connect with kindred souls in the labyrinth of the music industry.
