This was my own brief for Tundra. For those familiar with my music you’ll know me for deep grooves, melodic vibes, and the atmospheric dial set to maximum, Tundra won’t let you down it is a journey and the deep heavy bassline is your guide. "

*Butterfly Dance*

"With Tundra being such a deep fluid ride, I wanted something that for me was a bit more fun and uplifting and after a trip to the Zoo with my family seeing butterflies dancing around a forest setting, this track was born. So, with Butterfly Dance you have reached the end of the planes and now sounds of the forest welcome you with uplifting vocals and a solid groove picks you up and you're skipping along nicely."

"When I first heard 'Tundra' I knew I wanted to get my hands on it. Given that it's such a gorgeous track already, I wanted to keep the essence of it in my remix by holding on to the melody, some of the organic soundscapes, and the vocal chop. I committed to crafting an infectious percussive groove - quite possibly the most percussive composition of mine to date - added one of my distorted and groovy basslines, jammed it out live a few times, hit record, and put the final touches on it to polish it off and voila!
This remix straddles a line between melodic and progressive house and organic house. It's been a great one for me in my mixes/podcasts and a few sets, of late, and I hope you enjoy it as much as I did writing it".
