Since 2014, Alexis Paul has been leading a nomadic and poetic adventure based around a revisited barrel organ. Here, the street organ comes to the bedside of the world, to the test of creation, becoming a tribune and a conduit for culture plunging into the in- finity of forms and possibilities. By collecting the stories of popular culture, he reinvents them to extract a sublime dimension from a contemporary perspective. Alexis Paul is also a film music com- poser and the artistic director of a number of projects, including Voci Dal Mondo Reale, Orgue-paysage, the Salon Volant and more recently Désornements (sound research projects based on embroidery and sound).
