Apsarah discovered her creative passion for music in her youth, inspired by the thriving techno scene in Germany. Over the years she has shaped her own style of deep, dark and hypnotizing sounds. Exploring the depths of music formed a new way of expressing and transmitting the essence of herself. Carefully curating each of her sets, she creates diverse and captivating journeys. 

Leaving the comfort of her home country has evolved into a life changing adventure and exploration of all things creative. During her wanderings, Apsarah discovered the music scene in Australia and soon enough she fell in love with Melbourne which she calls her home today. While she played at most clubs in and around Melbourne, being able to connect music with nature has always been her favorite. Diving deep into the abyss of music, Apsarah is now on the way of creating her own sound through music production.

This week we welcome a new guest to our mix series who's provided us one of the most tastefully curated sets we've heard yet.  

Ripplefactor is a well known Deep Techno artist based in Melbourne. He is a resident of Savage Art Productions and Red Moon Tribe. Savage is a collective focusing on promoting all kinds of arts with Techno as its catalyst. Red Moon Tribe needs no introduction within Australia. With the most diverse style of artists as their residents, the tribe is known for their infamous takeovers, warehouse raves and regular sold out nights at MyAeon.


With his exposure to deep, experimental, left field genres of Techno, Ripplefactor creates a special mix for Proxima Frequencies featuring a wide array of vibrant and hypnotising sounds. Exploring the genre in depth, he introduces his listeners to soundscapes that truly represent the ethos of underground techno.

Apsarah came across the music scene in Australia and soon found herself a spot in Melbourne. While Apsarah played at most clubs in and around Melbourne, playing outdoors and being able to connect music with nature has always been her favorite. Being part of the collective Savage Art Productions, she has contributed to festivals like Burning Seed and Burning Man. Diving deep into the abyss of music, she has also started her journey into music production.

Being not only a key member of Melbourne based art collective Savage Art Productions which allows her to expand her creative purpose not only in music but all things arts, but 2022 has also seen her launch her own 'Anomalie Collective' brand as a way to showcase the European sound she represents in Australia.

Hailing from Melbourne, Ripplefactor is a multi genre artist. However, his inclination has been towards Deep Techno and ambient soundscapes since over a year ago that captivated him right away. He is known for his ability to play thematic sets with soundscapes sending audience on a journey. He is also an upcoming producer working on tracks that align with his newly found love for music that fills the spectrum. His inspiration has been mainly from his close friends in the industry and the crew at Red Moon.

At present a resident of Savage Art Productions, Ripplefactor has performed at some of the most prestigious clubbing institutions in Melbourne. Savage Arts crew is a collective of multi-talented artists who build bespoke festival stages, create night club artworks and decor and have forayed into music production with their studio. Melbourne is quickly getting acquainted with the Savage flavour which exhibits darker side of the sounds pushing ambient, hypnotic, atmospheric and deep techno.

MNMLT first introduced himself to the Melbourne scene at the start of 2018, having being involved in underground warehouse raves and bush parties. He is a resident DJ for Red Moon, and has continued his love for darker and more experimental sounds with his collective; Savage Arts.”

Hailing from Melbourne, Ripplefactor had been experimenting with different styles and genres which finally led him to what he was looking for - a style of sound that is an intricate dance of repetitive aural flow and subtle changes. His inclination towards Deep Techno and ambient soundscapes has completely captivated his style and identity. He is known for his ability to play thematic sets with soundscapes sending the audience on a journey.

In this mix he takes us through a journey quickly ascending into a colossal mix crafted with works from artists like Surt, JC Laurent, Lewis Fautzi, Cristian Varela, Tensal, Amotik and Anthony Linell. He also showcases some ace production from Melbourne artists like JXTPS, Ranjit Nijjer and Metapattern.

Ever since being introduced to the ethereal atmospheric sounds of Deep Techno, Ripplefactor has been on a quest to explore the genre much in depth. Through this journey he has been able to connect with like minded people and artists who have inspired him to sculpt a narrative style which he tries to portray through his mixes. Believing that music is created as a resonance of what we perceive from around us, he is forever on the lookout for inspiration from nature, abstract architecture and mystifying art. Driven by what inspires him, he endeavours to delve into more experimentation with his upcoming projects.
