Babylon Calling inspired by TantRut & Holed Coin

Our 5th Release is a charming EP named "Cosmic Soul" by up and coming producer Nhii.

The title track "Cosmic Soul" carries us through complex landscapes of melancholic synthesizer madness. The first title of the release is complemented by a groovy and guitar-heavy take from peruvian Marco Tegui and a flowy dancefloor gem, which is Timbolettis remix.

The light hearted, though deeply grasping second original "Whistling Clouds" turns our heads to reminiscence of colorful mornings, dancing under the leaves of a waking forest. Our very own Dandara rounds things off with his trippy and smooth interpretation of this second track by Nhii.

We are very happy to be working with this amazing artist and human being and are looking forward to more collaborations with him.

Dear friends,

The „Love and Nature“ artists set off on new adventures and this time they have to face the catastrophic incidents in Australia.

Since September 2019 hundreds of bush fires have burnt over 6 million hectares of land. Scientists estimate that over 1 billion animals are affected. the reasons for the fires are versatile but the worst drought in Australias history and record high temperatures - up to 46 degrees - may be the main reasons. All this can be traced back to global warming but lots of politicians and huge parts of society still close their eyes. It is terrifying to see that every year announcements like this are rising and we are still not able to develop sustainable economic systems. Just embarrassing that country’s like Australia, Brazil or USA, which have to face natural catastrophes more than other countries, blocking important resolutions to stop the climate change. But also we have to take responsibility for our consumption behaviours to sent a signal to the economy.

Kollektiv.Liebe decided to donate all earnings of this release to „Wires“ which founded an Emergency Fund. It helps to rescue sick, injured and orphaned wildlife.

Wavelengths of different frequencies bring us information about sound, temperature or the image of the world. Through our senses we form a coherent whole.
That`s why we love the sound of bells.
The sound spectrum of a single tone consists of the basic frequency and several higher frequencies that are a full multiple of the basic frequency. Together they form harmonious parts of the spectrum.
The non-harmonious spectrum consists of partly harmonious parts which are not full multiples of the basic frequency. The non-harmonious parts are added to the harmonious sections of the tone and produce richer instrumental sounds. Another determining factor of timbre is the transitional state which enables us to identify the source.

Light acts similarly. All the colours of the world  fit within the narrow margin of the visible spectrum. The frequency values enable us to reliably identify their influence on our well being and performance. Light affects our state of mind as much as music. 

The circle draws to a close.
