I don't normally express the meaning behind my songs but feel this one could use some context.
About a year ago I was traveling in China leaving my beautiful wife and daughters back home. They were eating at a local restaurant when one of my daughters began choking. While my wife frantically tried to open her airway the manager of this establishment told his staff not to bother calling for help because she would be dead before they arrived anyway.
Thankfully my wife was able to clear her airway and our daughter is fine.
We live in a rather small town and I still run into this "gentleman" from time to time. He smiles at me and says hello not knowing who I am or what I'm feeling inside.
I wrote this song to finally express myself.

I originally wrote "Bloom" as an instrumental about the different seasons of life. I cannot begin to express how much it means to me that Fa found beauty in the music and has added so much more through her wonderful words and voice!!! Thank you so much!!!
