On November 11th, 2011, I was preparing myself to take my own life. I got high one last time, and waited for the night to come. Midnight passed, and early in the morning of November 12th, 2011, was the day I got caught with my drugs and promptly sent to rehab after the extent of my depression was revealed.

This song was written just days before this. It was intended to be my suicide note. I wanted people to know I would be happier this way. Not to worry or be sad about me, because everything was going to be okay. I just wanted nothing more to do with the world. If I hadn't been brought to rehab, I would not be alive today.

Exactly one year later, I'm coming clean about what happened. 

I am okay. And I am incredibly happy to be alive.

To my peers: Never give up.
