Producer, Composer, Bandleader and DJ, Blend Mishkin is a versatile artist, who has mixed and move across reggae, dub, soul, funk as well as world music and in 2023 completed 30 years of discography. His works have been released on seminal record labels, such as Manos Hadjidaki's Sirius, London's Nice Up! Recods, LTJ Bukem’s Cooking Records (UK) and New York based Shadow Records.
His music have received exceptional reviews from the press and music radio shows, notably those of David Rodigan (BBC1Xtra), Toddla T (BBC Radio One), Seanie B (BBC1Xtra), Keith Lawrence ( Mi-Soul), Craig Charles (BBC 6 Music) and the late Andrew Weatheral (NTS). Cooking Vinyl is an independent record label based in London, UK. A hugely diverse roster of acts are currently signed to the label, from The Darkness to legends including The Orb, Shed Seven, to veteran protest singer Billy Bragg, rave pioneers The Prodigy, plus Elles Bailey and The Jesus and Mary Chain. Cooking Vinyl has been in existence since 1986 and has issued over 400 releases in that time.
