MRG014 a New Wave, EBM and Electronic compilation composed of six tracks.

The side one features artists who already appeared in Marguerite discography. A1 opens up with ‘Noi Non Ci Saremo’ a bruise of nostalgic, new-romantic and dreamy 80s vibes from Diana Berti - @violet-poison, followed up by Black Dot’s ‘Recurrent Disorder’ with occult spoken-word intonation of @yasssa reminding of John Balance, over acid bassline, electro beat and syncopated noises by @allegedwitches. ‘Unknown Faces’ close up the A side - an EBM track with a killer raw beat and distorted bass ready for sweaty dancefloors from the label heads duo @bianconegativo. 
Flip side is unwrapped by one of the synth pioneer and UK based artist @timothy-j-fairplay with ‘Love Boat For Four’ that drags you straight into a sci-fi movie fiction with the 8 bit electronic synths. B2 is Highest Bidder from Harlem Electronics, a seductive minimal rhythm with a dark undertone. The journey ends with ‘Svart Magi’ an hardware industrial jam by the Swedish producer @celldod.

Hambourg’s electro duo Fallbeil composed by Wosto and Kluentah, is still pretty unknown despite they’ve been releasing a bunch of EP and a couple of LP on label like Mannequin, Killekill sub-label Boidae or New York Haunted and more recently on their own label Teerpappe to name a few. Wosto, long time Macadam Mambo’s collaborater (Danzas Electricas vol. 2 & 3), sent us demos of what sounds very like « what Drexciya would realease on Bunker Records », a compilation of irresistible dark atmospheres slow electro tunes with very raw textures, complemented by few little skits to generate a brilliant album around the story of the Mockturtle. It’s rought as it should be!

Procesos de algo(ritmos), tecnolilusiones sin género: el sonido pícaro de dj mais deja su sello en mixtapes que exploran la potencia narrativa del montaje en donde una amalgama de ritmos y estilos a partir del techno y el house conviven con la cadencia del dub o el postpunk.

 A partir de un concentrado trabajo de selección, en los últimos años Dj mais ha grabado un gran número de mixtapes para Muito Radio, plataforma que dirige desde el año 2020, incluyendo los shows Contra, Divino Maravilhoso, Local Mambo y El Parrandero Breakfast Show, un nuevo programa con selecciones mensuales que van más allá de la música de club incluyendo pasajes más experimentales y una variedad de ritmos latinos con el espíritu libre y sincopado del mambo.

Licenciadx en Gestión del Arte y la Cultural por la Universidad Nacional de Tres de Febrero con cruces entre la música, las políticas culturales, el arte contemporáneo y el trabajo con archivos en el ecosistema digital, Manu Schjaer (a.k.a Dj mais) desarrolla la plataforma muitoradio.com con el deseo de amplificar un sonido que escape a las formas de producción, circulación y consumo que tienden a homogeneizar nuestras prácticas culturales.

These are challenging times in the middle east. As the situation in Gaza gets worse daily, we are committed to doing what we can to end this conflict, and provide aid to the residents of Gaza, as well as all Palestinians in the west bank.

All proceeds from Confused Machines' digital sales will go directly to Physicians For Human Rights – Israel (PHRI), which continues its medical work and humanitarian aid in the West Bank despite the difficult circumstances.

Since October 2023, PHRI has doubled its activity in the West Bank and is sending two weekly mobile clinic visits to help communities that are cut off from medical treatment due to the severe wave of settler and military violence, movement restrictions, and the financial crisis in the West Bank.

PHRI is currently unable to operate in Gaza due to restrictions by the Israeli authorities, and have been barred from delivering aid to the strip. PHRI is constantly working to resume these activities and will do so as soon as the circumstances allow.

We urge for an immediate ceasefire, the return of all hostages, and a peaceful future for all inhabitants of this troubled land.
