Ritmos Cholulteka/ C-A-N-O-A

RITMOS CHOLULTEKA aka BRUNO SIN MÁS (DJ & Photographer) based in Lisbon. One of the pioneers of the “nights of cumbia and Latin American music” in the Portuguese capital. Creator of "Movimiento Cumbiero" a movement to unify Latin American residents in the city from 2013.

Founder of NAHUEL COLECTIVO, with the purpose of spreading Latin American culture in Portugal and co-founder of the TROPIKAOZ project.  Currently producer and curator of the BALKAN VS CUMBIA monthly party at TITANIC SUR MER (Lisbon).

Bruno Zayas comes from what was once a small rural town in Mexico and formerly a native civilization (Cholula). The mixture of native roots with popular sentiments has always been very influential in the musical journey and "bailanguero" (dance journey). Giving the result to intervene with the audience with a mixture of these two roots, to fill them with CUMBIA in heart and soul, but with the detail of amplifying dance and pleasure with electronic, Balkan or African sounds. The objective is to go around the world dancing to the rhythm of interculturality.
The DJ sets have a deep and lively energy mixed with Mexican pre-Hispanic instruments and accompanied by native visuals.

Throughout the process Rhythms Cholulteka has shared the stage in festivals and local partys  with national and international artists as Largatijeando, Kurup, Ohxalá, Venga Venga, Manu Chau, Rafael Aragon, R Vicenzo, Cigarra, Birdzzie, Matu and Pandilla, Shantel, Balkumbia, Tremenda Jauria and many more ... 




Proviene de lo que fue un pequeño pueblo rural de México y antiguamente una civilización nativa (Cholula). La mezcla de la raíz autóctona con los sentimientos populares siempre fue muy influyente en el transcurso musical y “bailanguero”. Dando el resultado de querer intervenir ante el público con una mezcla de estas dos raices para llenarlos de CUMBIA en alma y corazón, pero con el detalle de amplificar el baile y la gozadera con beats electronicos, balcánicos o africanos. El punto sabroso es, darle la vuelta al mundo echando un baile al ritmo de la interculturalidad.

RESH.G fait sa première rencontre avec les Raves Party à la fin des années 90. C’est donc tout naturellement qu’il intègre, début 2000, le DZ6TEM Crew, avec qui il organise des évènements et se retrouve régulièrement aux platines lors de fêtes innovantes et originales. Parallèlement à ses exactions sonores, il commence ses premières expérimentations sur des samplers, des boites à rythme et divers supports qui lui permettent de se familiariser avec la composition et le traitement du son.
Dès 2003, il produit des lives et des morceaux étonnemment matures et aboutis, bien qu’ils soient crées avec des moyens dérisoires et un équipement pas toujours adapté à ses ambitions artistiques. Cela ne l’empêche pas de se produire dans diverses free parties et teknivals en France et en Europe aux côtés de ses potes de toujours du sound system DZ mais aussi avec les Troubles Fêtes ou les Heretiks.
En 2008, il crée avec l’aide de quelques amis et d’un distributeur bien implanté le label DZ6TEM Records et enchaine 4 superbes opus en moins d’un an, ce qui lui vaut de se faire remarquer par de nombreux directeurs artistiques de labels hexagonaux comme CHAPATI EXPRESS, GLUMPK, OXYMOR, PSYCHOSOMATIK ou PAIN BEURRE Records ainsi qu’à l’international comme CRUX (USA) ou ELECTRO SUPERSTARS (Allemagne).
Très vite, les tourneurs et organisateurs de soirées s’intéressent à son cas: il se retrouve à l’affiche dans les clubs les plus pointus de l’underground parisien (Batofar, le Gibus, la Loco, La Machine, Glaz’art ou le Cabaret Sauvage où il partage l’affiche avec le célèbre duo allemand EXTRAWELT. Le bouche à oreille fait son job et il est très vite invité à sortir du cercle très fermé des soirées de la capital pour aller distiller des lives de plus en plus pointus dans les clubs et festivals de province (Toulouse, Grenoble, la Bretagne ou Chamonix sont sur sa carte).
Puis sa musique commence à passer les frontières. Il est désormais à l’affiche de nombreux évènements en Allemagne, au Cross Club, le temple de l’underground tchèque,en ITALIE ou encore à Bruxelles pour un set mémorable mélangeant musique tzigane et électro... En prévision, de nombreuses performances scéniques, un nouveau liveset composé de plus de Hardware ainsi que la production d’un album double Vinyle en étroite collaboration avec TOOLBOX prévu pour les beaux jours de l'année 2024... RESH.G c'est plus de 25 ep sortis en vinyles et a peu pres autant en sortie digitales depuis 2007 mais il est encore difficile de savoir jusqu’où son talent et sa soif de bon son pourront le mener....

Atomik Fader, also known as Sonik, member of Latitanz since 2017.
Music genre : Tribe Tekno, Hardtek, DnB, Breakbeat.

Born in 1976 in the province of Turin. Since he was a child fascinated by vinyl records and the figure of the DJ.
In 1992 he bought his first console, 2 Technics SLBd22 turntables and an anonymous mixer.
He began to learn the art of mixing at home and then, in 1993, he attended a djs school organized by DJs at RADIO ITALIA UNO radio station in Turin.
From 1993 to 1995 he had the opportunity to play in some clubs in Turin and its province proposing house/hardhouse and later progressive/trance. A small hardcore parenthesis between 1995/1996 influenced by the Swiss mega raves where he went to dance (Evolution, Goliath, Energy).
In 1996 he went to his first free partyorganized by Spiral Tribe in Turin and from that moment he completely changed the musical style of his DJ sets.
Since 1996 the main style became tribe tekno with dnb influences.
The reference artists are Fky, Crystal Distortion, Interface68 and Vinka which, however, are joined by many other artists and labels.
In September 1997 he played for the firts time in an illegal party on the  Olstad sound system at the Teknival in Monterenzio.
Until the early 2000s he played squat parties and raves as a guest.
Since 2004 he founded, together with some friends, the Tribe Unitz Sound System which was very active in the scene until 2014, collaborating with various Italian and foreign crews.
From 2017, invited by DJs Kilfa and CoolFinger, he has permanently joined the Latitanz crew.
From few years resident in Tenerife where he organizes several free parties contributing to the growth of the almost non-existent movement in the Canary Islands.
