PRELUDE TO MUSIC FOR SELF ESTEEM (MSE)

This release is intended to introduce the title and positions that will be held by the audiovisual essay Music for Self Esteem, to be released in the summer of 2019. As the title suggests, the focus is to point all meaning towards the feedback loop between oneself and one’s opinion of oneself. 
It is this body of interactions that, in my opinion, create the basis for all art/music/creative work that is self-aware.

This prelude draws a very simple binary perspective (a line) of the system that will be presented in MSE: a reiterative non-spatial cycle of human conditions (an ever changing sphere considered as a point). 

RESTITUTION refers to the eternity of ideas, the ability of people to use and reuse their perceptions (of themselves and others), thus reforming identity and belonging from the ashes of contradictory social expectations. 

MOTHERHOOD refers to the godhood of all origin points, the body that creates the cycle in the first place, the only stable reference point in the chaos of reiterative restitution.

Attached below is an incomplete list of positions that will be both developed and criticized in MSE.

I’m paranoid that nobody sees me as intentionally acting

Emotion is a construct of the environment — a construct is made by the mind — emotion is thus both contingent on the mind and the environment, but the mind has more power. Maybe I’d be 50/50 on a given day

Aesthetic recombinations are postmodern iterations of the first moment in which art was conceived

5.
Systems of power are considered to have formed “naturally” by those seeking to displace responsibility for their actions

6.
Loneliness isn’t the condition of modern humankind, it's a symptom of inherited survival instincts

I don’t intend on believing that I will be written into history. I don’t think it’s my choice, and if it happens it won’t be because I want it to happen

8.
God is the summation of all interpretable distributed networks in all and any system(s)

9.
Every historicization only describes the visible. All concepts have existed since the beginning of humanity and only some of them make it to the books in each round of erasure

10.
Accelerationist observance of positive feedback loops is using a euphemism for “genocidal erasure.” Since I don’t like to think people are stupid I am compelled to believe that there is intentional evil in the ideological development of contemporary theory

A spatial representation/conception of time is a constraint that demands a logical understanding of the universe

Music for Self Esteem is the spiral of anti-logical usage of rhetoric. It is intended (ironically) to oppose Sophism and irony
