Stay Forever

I digged through some 70s Funk to come up with a classic disco house track. It was a lot of fun mangling with the sounds. I have choosen a hybrid approach though, as some synths are used.

Funny note: I played the track to my wife and asked her if something is missing. She said: Umm, the melody?
So yes, no happy melody this time ;)

A happy D&B-ish track, test driving the new SH-1 Jump Up FLEX pack. Written in C-dur for maximum happiness with being used for a vintage computer demo in mind. This version has a more driving percussion. The first few seconds are very similar to a track from Aquilyzer (Solar Nebula), which is because this is one of my favourite tracks.

Gloomy & Mechris - Unconfined Top (Luckdown 2, Novembre 2020)

Light and darkness, happiness and sorrow. The existence of one is caused by the other. We think dark matter exists because measurements of 'normal' matter would not otherwise make sense. In the current manifestation of Luckdown, darkness is everywhere. Search for the light by holding on to your family, your friends and your beloved ones.

In this track, Mechris provided some happy melodies, which were then induced with darkness by Gloomy. We call this process Gloomy-fication.
