This is my demo track for the Looptalk User Contest "Back on Track" of April 2021, As I was the host of the competition, this was not an entry.

Despite the contest allowed more, I limited myself to only 4 samples played at one time and 256k of sample and music data memory.

Funfacts about "Twin Portals 2222"

This track has a bit of a story behind it.

I originally started working on Twin Portals 2222 back in 2018, the very moment I transitioned from Gloomer to Gloomy.
A significant turning point for me, creatively and personally.

You could say this track was born in the twilight zone, a space between two identities, a kind of limbo where past and future blurred.

Fast forward to 2025…

I randomly stumbled upon the original version on an old external hard drive. And I thought: why not give it the Gloomy treatment it never got?

So that’s exactly what I did.

A gloomyfication, seven years in the making. :-)
