Singularly the elements that make up North Phase are impressive, collectively they are devastating. Between them, Burnski and Robert James have covered a lot of ground musically and they bring to the table some serious skills. Years of experience behind the decks and in the studio has allowed the pair to flex a focused sound brimming with the most outrageous breakbeats, speaker-busting basslines and just the right amount of vocals to cut through the mist.

Saying all this about their past means we haven’t even touched on their current output as North Phase. This is where we find the pair on their mix for our InSession series and Robert James’ Body Movement imprint has given them the platform from which to launch their weaponised dancefloor bangers.

We are delighted to welcome Jacopo Latini onto the podcast series with this well curated mix that showcases a balanced mixture of recently produced records and some old ones too.

Jacopo has offered music under various different aliases, most notably being one half of the incredibly talented Data Memory Access. The debut release from the pair saw instant success on Moodwaves and went on to be one of the hottest records of 2020. Jacopo leans towards the more housey spectrum of electronic music throughout this mix with classic synths, 4 to the floor drums and heavy basslines.
