Discotheque, hosted every Friday at The Assembly, is become recognized as Cape Town's first choice Friday night event.

With a simple ethos of 'If its got beat and you can dance to it, we'll be playing it', Discotheque has in its short lifetime hosted an array of top local, national and international talent, and continues to set the standard and raise the bar, on a weekly basis.

The Discotheque Mix Series aims to showcase and promote featured artists, current or forthcoming at our Discotheque events, as well as the occasional special guest.

Button Bashers is a monthly event, created in order to nourish and scope out South Africa's aspiring beatmakers and DJ's. One Battle at midnight, 4 DJ's throughout the evening. We provide them with a sample track a week before the event to re-work and play on the night to battle for a prize from Akai.

People are welcome to enter submissions in the form of their soundcloud page for the battles happening in the months to follow.
