Two Jungle titans of different generations join forces on “Gunman” . With his distinctive trademark husky vocals and high energy, the legendary vocalist, artist and storyteller Sweet Irie crowns a Jungle stepper extraordinaire by Brian Brainstorm who has worked his way to becoming one of the most prolific producers amongst the Jungle circuit. Don't sleep on the flipside as well containing the energy filled jungle weapon and real scorcher "All Over The World" which is set to be an anthem this year.

A rolling Helicopter beat with Amen fill-ins, a skanking Reggae guitar-loop, dubs and FXs plus a deep wobbling sub-low bassline lay down the foundation for Sweetie Irie’s vocals on “Gunman” delivering a high-octane glimpse into Jamaica’s and UK’s darker and rougher side of reality. This is a floor-heater and stepper that you will not soon forget.

Bouncing back to the nostalgic and ever fresh sound of the 90s, the suitably titled “All Over The World” pays tribute to Jungle and global sound system culture. Brian Brainstorm shows his understanding of groove, production and composition on this modern Jungle masterpiece with atmospherics pads, fresh lashing, rolling Jungle drums, an old school piano-melody taking you back to the warehouse raves and an emotional Reggae vocal-sample saying “this is for the sound-boys who has fought war all over the world”. If you think things can’t be better , then wait for the mesmerizing bassline to drop and you will be in rave heaven and surely call for a rewind. 

Brain Brainstorm has swiftly climbed the ranks to become one of the most respected producers in today’s Jungle game, racking up releases on the scene’s biggest labels with support comes flooding in from a range of influential selectors. Due to his handcrafted skills behind the mixing desk and the turntables he is one of the most well known Junglists to come out of Germany with nominations for Best Breakthrough DJ and Producer under his belt. 

Sweetie Irie is a legend on it´s own rights who began working on local sound systems as a teenager just to went to be number one with Aswad in over sixty countries later on. Championed by collaborations with Jungle and Drum and Bass heroes like Shy FX, Roni Size, Congo Natty, Zinc, Benny Page plus appearances on the Gorillaz hit single “Clint Eastwood” and eight number ones in the Dancehall charts, Sweetie Irie continues to turn heads and find new fans with the echo of his signature voice and wordsmithery.

After 4 years, the team from St. Petersburg returns to https://soundcloud.com/citateforms. The "https://soundcloud.com/theoretical_dnb" project has prepared 2 combat rollers named "Aught" and "Animal Instinct".  This one is Aught. 

The Theoretical project was founded in 2014 by two producers from Saint-Petersburg: Anton Ermolaev & Dmitriy Saksin. March 2015 their collaboration brings first results - the guys signed two tunes on Liquid Brilliants Records. Tune "Hope" with its catching piano and vocal "Release The Energy" got into mixes of Radiostations inviting you into the atmosphere of easiness. After that came the release on Live History Records (Sanit-Petersburg) and another on Liquid Brilliants. 

Theroretical do not limit themselves with regards to styles, but according to their released tunes the soulful and jazzy moods are dominating. The promising project Theoretical has received support from producers & DJs such as Random Movement, DJ K, DJ Spim.

We’re three quarters of the way through 2021 and it’s fair to say there are a whole host of young talents who have navigated the struggles of lockdown and emerged as real forces to watch within the drum and bass scene. Refracta is one of them!

Whether it was the euphoric remix he put together of his and Tatar’s “Closer” for DnB Allstars, or his 1moretime EP on Underground Soundz shining a light on the dancefloor carnage a Refracta release can do. Either way, this artist is one exciting a lot of people right now. It’s part of the reason why Born On Road couldn’t wait to welcome him back to the label for an EP release after his “Flux” single on Crossy’s Future Blends album earlier this year.

Introducing Refracta’s Oxytocin EP – a five-track release packing the familiar playful sound Refracta is rapidly becoming renowned for in the scene. If you like wubs, wobs, and music teeming with creativity, then this EP is the one for you!

Grafix finally unveils his new sound to the world on his remarkable ‘Refuge’ EP - his first solo release in almost ten years since departing from his long-term collaborative outfit. Delve into his new found inspiration across four tracks that explore the world of underground dancefloor drum & bass.

The acid-techno inspired ‘Acid Generation’ calls back to the sound of rave counterculture through the late 80s, with a rapid-fire relay of metallic stabs that pack enough punch to surge through any concrete jungle.

Original Grafix fans will relish in the power-chords and big leads of ‘Refuge’, that feature the addictive vocals of Bristol’s Ruth Royall. ‘Photons’ is a welcomed switch-up, bringing in Grafix’s love of house and garage with stabbing percussions and ethereal synths. As ‘Rain Fall Down’ calls out Grafix has his new musical vision clear in sight.

As a duo, Grafix has previously released three albums with Hospital Records that included the huge drum & bass anthems ‘Major Happy’, ‘Forest Fires’, ‘Ultraviolet’, ‘Tension’ and many more. He’s had radio support from the likes of Zane Lowe, Annie Mac, MistaJam, Rene LaVice, as well as club support from the biggest in the game.

He’s previously toured the globe and this summer he continues to take dancefloors by storm with sets at Glastonbury, Liquicity Festival, Hospitality On The Beach, Boardmasters and more.

Andrei Duruș, professionally known as Scatterbrain, is a talented Romanian drum & bass producer and DJ with an impressive track record, having released music on well-regarded labels including Galacy, Fokuz, and Rene LaVice's DeVice. His unique sound is influenced by industry pioneers such as Technimatic, Netsky, and Calibre, blending technical skill with creativity.

In 2024, Andrei marked a major milestone by performing his debut international gig in Prague, adding to his growing presence in Romania at iconic venues such as Arenele Romane, Expirat, and Club Quantic. In 2025, he played at Electric Castle Festival, the place where he fell in love with drum & bass in 2016, this marking a major milestone for his artistic career.  With each new release, Scatterbrain continues to solidify his standing in the drum & bass scene, and his passion for innovation promises an exciting future in the electronic music industry.
