@hirschmann-music joins forces with @mimmo-assi-nf for Le Martinet LP, a gloomy trip to be released on 2nd April 2021 on Toulouse-based @ritmofatale. As part of this release, we are thrilled to share the track ‘Regard Croisé’ from Hirschmann, a resident of @ola_radio, @tpltcollective affiliate and @eclipse_bdx boss. Expect a dark atmosphere, between  gloomy trance, lustful & downtempo EBM, psychedelic and experimental incantations.

Multimedia Schneider (@mmschneider) is a multi-disciplinary artist based in Leipzig. His practice spans experimental music, video and image. Based on reworking found and archived audio as well as visual material, the digital is remediated through varied analogue processes. Thrust into digital uncertainty, at the expense of its own substance the reformulated sounds and images tend towards abstraction. An idea in its very becoming the process becomes the subject and shapes the parameters of aesthetics within the work. Replicated and filtered Multimedia Schneider’s practice questions the real and the unreal in the field of human perception.
Winter Tapes I & II invite into gliding melodies and field recordings as they imprint an atmosphere haunting and naïve. Layers of resonance located and compressed are etchings in mid-air. Tender textures blossom in intimate and subtle sound design, luring us into this thoughtful ambient album. 
All Tracks are live improvisations based on the use of a minimalistic 
conceptualized setup mostly consisting of low budget and semi broken equipment.

Wicked bass, "dubstep-not-so-dubstep" vibe: the whole Crafted Tools EP is a mixture of UK influences. We are glad to unveil its Making Craze hit as part of our premiere series.

For the second episode of Scene city (@scenecityeu) on Mutant radio, André (aka. Staxl @staxl_andre) presents a bunch of unreleased and fresh stuff from artists and labels based in Leipzig, Germany. He got introduced to the local scene through organizing punk and experimental DIY shows and later on joining PRACHT collective - a club dedicated to discovering as well as supporting innovative/progressive music. In that, they're not being committed to a specific style, but try to trace the uncharted, left-field and engaging strands of culture. Correspondingly, this mix for Scene city displays a wide variety of genres - from electroacustics and computer music through bass music to post-punk and beyond - and encompasses mostly unreleased music, plus some cassette and digital releases and live recordings.

Brahim Lumière (@anwaranwar), DJ and producer from Saint-Etienne, recently introduced Ghost Dance, a label gathering artists around experimental electronic music.
Inspirited by the John Hassell's concept of Fourth World, he focuses on the concordance between traditional music and sounds from the digital era.

For our podcast serie, he delivered a magnetizing mix which combines tribal polyrythms, deep techno and haunted broken beat.

Delighted to launch our "premiere" series with Lyon-based @xliks, who is featured on the brand new record label Music for commercials (@user-16359218), dedicated to environmental preservation. All the label's profits are donated to associations for the protection of the environment and anti-advertising actions.
Music for commercials promotes diverse and open aesthetics, from noise, to IDM (Idiocratic Dance music)and destructured pop.

From an ecological point of view, the Lyon-based label's releases take place on floppy disks (these floppy disks are second hand). The race for innovation can make us lose the sense of our priority. They prefer
to use obsolete material to make useful and usable work of art. Nothing is obsolete as long as it is still usable.

Premiere: xl.iks — Healing Process

After releasing tracks on record labels such as @comicsansrec and @tustance, @modern-collapse, a duo composed of Gabriel de Sercey and Hugo Fabry, are back with a debut album, based on deconstructing sonic elements of club musict hrough an immersive experience. For this project, they felt like they needed to break away from the club side to propose a more personal and introspective project, hence the title Anti-Club Music Club. This summer, the release of Vanessa Amara's album Poses has shaken thema bit in its "patchwork" aspect of experimental sounds. Therefore, they started to build their own project with the same intention to propose a brief but intense auditory journey that can be listened to from beginning to end, with an emphasis on emotions and sound design. 
It is a project that aims to challenge the way we consider club music, by deconstructing its basis and showing that creation and destruction can be two faces of the same coin.

An ode to "normal times" and to unloved party, the compilation aims at celebrating the time when we could easily meet strangers, seduce one-another and just live without social distancing. Among the 15 artists featured on this compilation, we are glad to present the track "Mylène" from @mynameisronba, the founder of Bordeaux crew @itscremefraiche. With this delicate acid love story, the French artist is introducing his first-ever production work.
