Dauw & Schemering - Kambo Podcast 03

'Schemering' is best known as one half of the dj duo 'Dauw & Schemering'. They quickly paved their way into the Belgian music scene and beyond. Their names — translate to ‘Dew’ and ‘Twilight’ — complement as much as the duo's exquisite taste for refined house music. Consider it a yin-yang situation in which their determination and urge for perfection seamlessly blend together into one experience.

Known for gigs at ADE, Afrika Burn, The Gardens of Babylon & Tomorrowland and heating up dance floors in renowned Belgian venues like Café d'Anvers, Club Vaag and Decadance to only name a few. 2016 and 2017 gave them a quick jump to some international gigs in Stockholm, Berlin, Amsterdam and Tulum. But maybe they're even better known for their elaborate list of delicately crafted podcasts for a wide range of respected music channels.

Not sticking to one particular style their sound can best be described as house music in all its deepest forms and tempo ranges. Every time again they up their game by embracing the dance floor and its listeners with forward thinking music. Warm melodies often go together with groovy, heavy bass lines creating a particular deep sound that has energy enough to get the party started, to going way passed sunrise, and every moment in between. Add some strong emotional flavor to their defined sense for depth & rhythm and they will spark you up on a journey that makes your heart, mind and feet wander over and over again.

EDIT** Hello, Thank you for visiting my soundcloud as I have mentioned.. I am no longer djing or doing any events, I have kept the page to listen to new artist and good sounds that I am into. :) I also use music for my dance meditation class which I facilitate in Los Angeles CA. 
I believe that music is a healing tool and I have developed a meditative practice to help raise awareness to our consciousness and learn how to un block stuck energy within the human body by using body movement, breath-work and selective music that connects us from within while de-activating the human sight. Grew up to 90's music and my passion in music have "evolved" to the current tunes we listen to this day.
My background as a professional dancer has lead me to fall in love with being a disc jockey and playing music for people. 
My style is mainly dance music, what i would want to dance to ALL night long.
House, deep house, tech house, progressive and trance :)

There is always space for improvement so I am constantly changing my mixes :)

my first influences in music in late 90's and early 2000's are
Dj Qbert (I started learning how to scratch because of this guy! )
followed by:
Paul Van Dyk (I watched his videos and even stalked his competitions online and youtube) 
Then fell in love with the mash-up king
Girl Talk :) Whom I later got to play alongside with my closing set at Electric Glow Run Festival in Las Vegas NV :)

At the end everything is ok, if it's not ok then it's not the end
