We are back with another summer sip for connaisseurs and we’re extremely happy to have it mixed by an outstanding producer, DJ and live performer. Please join us in welcoming MUUI with his sensational Calypso!

The Berlin based artist has long been praised for his distinctive design and creative approach; offering you a concise and personal slice of his universe with each interaction.

MUUI’s discography  reflects his many influences and his exploratory nature always searching for compelling moments; working with an extensive list of vintage and modern hardware synthesizers, drum machines and processing gear that has seen him carve out a raw sound all of his own, beautifully delicate, intricate and emotive, a fresh message that resonates through each release and his live show.

Since his first release in 2014, his fascination to experiment with technique and technology has continually expanded his prowess as an artist. A heavy focus on live performance saw the birth of his debut album ‘Escape The Remedies’. The album was released in January 2015 via the Berlin label Crossfrontier Audio. 

Releases followed on Hernan Cattaneo’s Sudbeat and Microcastle alongside his second studio album ‘Following Today’, warping listeners into a carefully built exploration and was his most mature output to date. 

2017 saw the birth of his own imprint; Here Now was conceived as a new creative outlet for MUUI with the vision to bring together his music and other creative artists by way of events and a record label. 

In 2019 MUUI released his follow up EP on Sudbeat, alongside several raw and vibrant analog explorations planned across the year on Here Now. 

MUUI’s used the weeks of isolation lately to create new deep and atmospheric masterpieces. We’re extremely happy that he used some of his upcoming gems in the Calypso and we cannot get enough of it!

SEGG started moving his first steps in music since at a young age, but his first vibes were actually brought to life as a result of the years he spent in Switzerland during his youth. He learned how to play guitar, piano, bass, drums and developed a strong vocal ability and his first influences were from folk melodies to traditional world music.

He then discovered electronic music in between Lausanne, Berlin and New York, and matured a passion in producing electronic music, which went hand in hand with his classical and jazz training background. On his most recent release on Do Not Sit, the stunning "Like a Man EP", SEGG proves that he doesn't just play various instruments, but also sings like an absolute angel. 

Nostalgic harmonies rooted in the dynamic rhythms that transport crowds all around, from the mountains of Switzerland to the blocks of concrete of the German clubs..

Just like a photographer, Segg seamlessly blends these two extremes with his unique emotional touch.

We are wishing you a great start into the new week with a classic whiskey cocktail from the 1930's: the Vieux Carré! B.A.X. interpretation of this New Orleans signature cocktail comes with equal parts of deep, melodic, and cinematic vibes.

Vietnamese B.A.X. was taught playing the piano when he was eight years old. Later on he took academic piano lessons at the Ho Chi Minh City Conservatory of Music, graduated the Intermediate Long-term program in 2009 and achieved the Piano Bachelor's degree in 2014. Bach has been playing the piano for more than 10 years now and this impressive sound has had a big influence on his music career ever since. 

He started the DJ career since 2012 with Heart Beat Saigon and since 2016 with HRBR (Harbour Saigon). In 2018, his first release Microcrystals EP was released on the label "MNL", followed by his track "Hallucination Rain" in the Muak Sampler compilation on "Muak Music" in the same year.

In 2019, his own imprint Holy Grail Music was born, focusing on B.A.X.'s passion for melodic electronic music. 

Finally, B.A.X. is a unique and very talented storyteller. His captivating sets are built with great care and love to detail. Given the fact, that B.A.X. also composes filmscores for several short films and cinema movies, this is not a susprise. Get comfy and enjoy a cinematic experience with B.A.X.'s Vieux Carré!

We wish every one a Happy New 2021 and are delighted to start the new year with some fresh talent from Cran Canaria: Nau Squaglia brings you one of the most popular and traditional drink from Spain: a Sangria!

In constant search for a personal and distinctive sound, and after a steady road of learning, practice and experimentation, 2020 marks Nau Squaglia´s debut as a producer and Dj as well as the first live performance in Gran Canaria, his home base.

With a musical background ranging from rock guitar to electronic music and Jazz and Blues, Nau Squaglia connected the dots to draw a musical loop that seems to result in an endless creative inspiration.
 
The love for organic sounds is present all over his tracks, combining real instruments recordings with more traditional electronic elements. His first album "Remain in Light" was released on the Spanish label Be Adult Music.

2021 will keep unfolding more fantastic works of Nau Squaglia, such as the beautiful track included in this set, which will be released on Timujin & atalkingdrum's imprint Earthly Delights soon.
