The 3000 Grad crew completely transformed the Ritter Butzke into a magical land so it was super fun to play in such a special atmosphere!

The past 18 months (since the last time I posted my Fusion recording) have been truly memorable for me, with many unforgettable experiences all over the world, new places, new friends and above all some amazing support along the way. I am grateful to have this opportunity to travel around the world to stages where I can expose my music. 

One of the key moments came back on April 1st when I closed DGTL Amsterdam’s Frequency Stage. I was exhilarated throughout, and I felt that I achieved a very strong connection with the people that were there that day. So much, so that I decided to go back to my studio to record the set again, so that I could share it with everyone once more here. Thank you to everyone that let this set come alive. Pandhora, a French duo, represents a symbiosis of syncopated rhythms and psychedelic melodies. Inspired by 70’s progressive and psychedelic music, they mix deep electronica music with synths and throbbing guitar riffs. Thanks to their experimentiveness and their incredible creativity, Pandhora enable the audience a unique electronic dance music experience. 

The project is the artistic symbiosis of two musicians who wish to bring sounds that occupied their thoughts back alive. Referring to their style as “Deep Psychedelica”, they always seek for new sonorities and therefore often invite other musicians to join them. Their mission is to create an original universe for each of their productions and performances. 

And we are enormously happy they took their credo to another level in their exclusive Psychedelic Vodkarita for Schirmchendrink: it features live guitar & synths. And, for the first time, it also includes live vocals in the intro of this sensational mix. 

Have a sip and taste this dreamy and powerful gem, it is just a true piece of art. We are still astonished.

Despite the increased commercialism and popularity of Tulum, the magic does indeed still exist there, especially on the beach.  We certainly felt the energy during our Sol Selectas showcase, and the 5 days that followed, taking in the sunshine and positive vibes  this sacred land provides, to those who stop to be present, and listen. I always found it challenging to record a studio podcast: my analytical mind is trying to calculate every move, evaluate each transition & criticize the selection. I have time, music & equipment at my disposal, but one key element is missing to really tell a story: humans.

I encountered that problem last weekend. Although I was playing music I enjoy, I felt that my technically structured mix was too stiff and impersonal.

Then, some of my favourite humans turned up at the studio. As Ashley, Apolline, Axel & Robin entered the room, the studio was suddenly filled with a great energy & I felt like pressing the rec button again, just for fun - this is when the first minutes of  S y m b i o s e  were captured.

I feel this studio mix is an authentic representation of the energy levels I like to navigate through during a longer set. It features some of my favourite tracks in a nod to the past but also has a touch of the future; new sounds that are moving me forward & some of my new compositions.

I’m happy to share this mix as I’m taking off for Argentina, what marks my first adventure of the decade. This music session brought me clarity, presence & joy! I hope you'll resonate with it.
