With releases on major labels as Stil Vor Talent, WellDone Music and Noir Music, the German act HRRSN is a strong addition to the already diverse Gartenhaus catalogue.
The 4 track EP" Wrong Floor" is the Berlin-based producers first release on the danish label and it contains the two groovy tracks Almos and Bright Side. The melancholic vibe haunts the EP created by bubbling synths and lazy beats. The 2 remixes from Talul & Tony Casanova and of course Meggy, only emphasize the classic and pure German house sound.
Meggy contributes with a catchy remix of Bright Side, where the focus is directed at the vocal chops and the steady pace of the techno-beats, while the guys Talul & Tony Casanova interpret the original sound from HRRSN into a much more atmospheric and dreamy remix. We welcome the charismatic producer HRRSN with all of his originality and dedication to what we all love house-music.

Clear and stompy, that’s how Pauke Schaumburg’s “Hubble“ is starting. The elements not rushing in, a lot of time to discover that refreshing sound, which is getting a big floor anthem. The second track “Exchange“ is much more melodic from the beginning and it is sending some sunbeams through the clouds in April. At least “Violett feat Sebastian Baumert“ is really intense and trippy. A track full of pleasant sounds, with a great break and a rarely but present used vocal on it. “Runnin’ out of time“ - it is possible with this excellent release by Pauke Schaumburg.

"Hubble" will be out April 25th 2016.

Dear friends of Connaisseur,

In our scene, a decade is a long time.

When we started the label, we didn't have a master plan, we simply wanted to put out good music we loved, of which we were sure others would love it as well. The way Connaisseur subsequently grew came naturally. If you are music lovers like we are, current musical tendencies will of course always have an infuence on your sound, but basically we stayed true to ourselves and our core has always stayed the same. Yes, we love melodies, yes, we love deepness and yes, we love great emotions, but in which electronic style these are conveyed, is rather secondary. That is our leitmotif, from "Eve By Day" until today and every day to come.

For our anniversary release, we had the idea of asking for collaborations only, as we like the energy of two creative minds coming together and creating something special. Some of the chosen couples had already worked together, others had not. As a result, we now have 6 collaborations, which will be released digitally in two parts and as a selection of three tracks from the two parts on a very nice, limited vinyl.

We are very happy about the variety of styles we have received: From modern trance in the best possible manner fromOlderic and Peter Pardeike, over timeless Detroit-infuenced techno-guardian sound by the two legends Aril Brikha and Chymera, start-of-the-art melodic tech-house from our fgureheads Lehar and Musumeci, a cover-version of the 90ies alternative rock classic „Pets“ from Pornos for Pyros by our norse darlings Of Norway in collaboration with the Scandinavian pop- star Linnea Dale and the multi-instrumentalist Preben Olram, a Warp-style electronica pearl by the Wareika sidekick project Silky Raven together with Hamburg club-dj legend Solaris, to last but not least a techy guarantor by Maltese pirate The Element and Connaisseur label head Alex Flitsch.

This is part one of 10y of Connaisseur featuring Olderic & Peter Pardeike, Lehar & Musumeci and Silky Raven & Solaris.

More than 15 years ago Lars discovered his passion for electronic music and started DJing. In the meantime he came around quite a bit and played in lots of clubs across Germany. His first release was 2006 on WBA Records (formerly “Audiomorph”), many other followed on labels such as Casual Lab, Auditive, Eclaire The Heart, Wonnemusik etc.

Bristol based multi-instrumentalist and visual artist edapollo released his 2nd EP ‘Sanctuary’ on May 26th via US Label Svnset Waves. The new EP showcased the producer’s ability to concoct a potent organic meets electronic blend, while coating the productions with atmospheric arrangements. Following on from the release, edapollo and Svnset Waves are now presenting a hand picked collection of remixes from talents based around the world. The release includes a splendid remix from fellow Bristol producer Gallago, who has turned in a brooding eight minute gem.

Kicking this release off is one of India’s main DJ’s and producers; Praveen Achary. Flowers and Sea Creatures teamed up with David Granha earlier this year to bring you ‘Better Tomorrow’, a single that caused quite a stir in the underground electronic music scene and is currently the top selling Strange Town release, topping the labels’ Beatport chart.

The original release came with Jaap Ligthart and Tone Depth remixes and if that wasn’t enough the label is excited to show you the official remix single that includes reinterpretations by Praveen Achary, Futur-E and Dustin Nantais.

Praveen Achary, the Juicebox label owner takes the deep and chilled out approach with his lovely remix. It’s one of those tunes one can dance to when at a sun drenched beach party but will also bring you in a dream like state when listening to it in the comfort of your own home. Truly a quality moody piece of work here.

Greek producer Futur-E turns things up a notch with his more melodic / emo approach. Known for his releases on Tulipa, Cinematique and MNL to name a few, Futur-E is always a sure thing when it comes to delivering the goods. His remix is dance floor friendly and pumping but doesn’t loose sight of the vibe of the original. This marks his return on the label and makes us all look forward to his upcoming EP on Strange Town later this year.

Another artist that is returning on the label is fellow Canadian citizen Dustin Nantais on remix duties. Dustin has turned heads in recent years with his steady output on labels such as Manual Music, Kittball, BluFin and Wide Angle amongst others. His version is build around a highly infectious drive and when the arps are introduced you just know you’ve got yourself another winner here.

Three different interpretations make this a release that will appeal to many. There’s really something for everyone to love on here. What’s your pick of the bunch?

In 2009 his electronical music career started, creating a big
