A favorite since the '70s, the godfather is a mixed drink of scotch and amaretto. 
Savvas, producer and DJ based in Greece, brings to you this smooth sipping drink, consisting of deep and cosmic gems for your listening pleasure.

Chicago born but now firmly ensconced in his adopted Greek homeland, Savvas Karabinos, has been involved in the dance music industry since the early 1990s. A renowned DJ and the host of numerous open-air parties, Savvas worked with Yosebu in 2000, under the name Acropod, witnessed a full-length album for Klik Records. With over a double century of production credits to his name since 2010, Savvas has continued to find his work valued by the finest modern underground imprints. Thus, Anjunadeep, Magician on Duty, Particles, Crossings, Nie Wieder Schlafen, Hoomidaas and lot of more, continue to extol the virtues of the prolific producer.

Sugarcane juice is the liquid extracted from pressed sugarcane. It is consumed as a beverage in many places, especially where sugarcane is commercially grown, such as in Egypt, where ADHM's roots lie.

This week's producer and DJ is known for his melodic instrumental deep house, a multicultural journey filled with hypnotic grooves, harmonies and beats. His productions are released on labels such as mirrors (Toronto) or Souksonic (Belgium). "Stay with me" is his most recent release on Lost Desert's imprint, released in August 2021. 

Moving from Toronto to Dubai just recently, ADHM took a welcome break from unpacking moving boxes and getting settled in his new base, and mixed this organic ride through current favorites and unreleased gems of his own. Delicious!

Growing up with his father’s eclectic music collection of funk, electronica and synth-infused 80s music, MBryan merged this with his own love for hip-hop and video game music, culminating in a broad spectrum of musical influence. 

His sets today feature beautiful synth work, ethereal backdrops, brooding basslines, and occasional vocal hooks all on top of a pronounced foot-shuffling melodic house beat. 

His love for music goes beyond the spectrum of mixing tunes. As a producer and promoter, he has found plenty of ways to express himself musically, with gigs in his current home country Portugal and throughout Europe.

Paul Losev—the NYC/Miami-based founder of @naturecallsrecordings—boasts a stellar resume with releases on @worldsapartmusik, @songuaramusic, @stellarfountain, and @suprematic_sounds. For this week’s thirty-seventh Moonlight Mixtape, he’s packed a plethora of originals and aural nostalgia into a mix that—at exactly one hour long—definitely understands the assignment.

The vibrant opening track—his own “The Partét (Acoustic Version)”— feels like peering beyond the confines of daily life into a hidden consciousness that’s rich with rhythm and texture. A number of bootlegs recall a host of melodic memories, from JD Davis’ classic “The World Is Mine” vocals, to an organic rework of A-Ha’s “Take On Me.” Last week’s gorgeous Erdi Imrak collaboration “Runaway” (Songuara) is a highlight of the mix, and an hour that infuses progressive, electro, and vintage vibes ties up on an ambient note with Losev’s rework of A.M.R.’s “Sailor’s Cry.”
