About the location:
Wilhelmstein is an artificial island in lake Steinhuder Meer with an area of 12,500 square meters, located in the Hanover Region, Northern Germany.
The island was created in the 18th century as a fortification by Count William of Schaumburg-Lippe, ruler of this small German state. Since then the island hosts the Festung Wilhelmstein, the Wilhelmstein Fortress.

'Fejká' is not just a word, but a concept - a melodic blend between soft, dreamy atmospheres and the punchy vibe of techno. Torn between those two worlds like a lone wanderer, he developed his own unique way to find a perfect balance between both. His music offers a very atmospheric and soulful sound, laying somewhere between melancholy and euphoria, resulting in a unique interpretation of emotions which is seldom heard on the dancefloor. Originally from the Black Forest in Germany, he began producing his first tracks at just 17. ‘Fejká’ is not just a word, but a concept - a melodic blend between soft, dreamy atmospheres and the punchy vibe of techno. Wavering between those two worlds like a lone wanderer, he developed his own unique way to find a perfect balance between both. 

Originally from the Black Forest in Germany, he began producing his first tracks at 17. Influences such as Kiasmos, HVOB and Christian Löffler contributed significantly to his development and shaped his atmospheric, and yet punchy style, until he received a personal invite from none other than Christian Löffler himself to join his label, Ki Records. Having finished his studies in audiovisual media in 2019 in Stuttgart, he released his first studio album, ‘Reunion’, which only increased the excitement and quickly established him as a full-time artist in the scene. 

After touring numerous European countries before the pandemic, Fejká returned in the fall of 2022 with his highly anticipated second album "Hiraeth", followed by a sold-out EU tour and performances in cities such as Tokyo and Singapore.

After the release of his remix album "Hiraeth" Remixed, whose tracks like "Shades of You (Tor Remix) landed at #1 spot on the biggest chill playlist on Apple Music, Fejká turned to collaborations with artists like Christian Löffler or Jan Blomqvist. At the end of 2023, following the success of "Hiraeth" he embarked on his biggest European tour to date with over 25 shows in 2 months.

A perfect example of something that is delicious because it is sweet, bitter and sour at the same time is today’s fantastic cocktail by Fejká. His smooth creation for Schirmchendrink is a very desirable sip, and the light sugary melodies but sour and sometimes bitterish melancholy is a flavor that is absolutely lovable!

Based in Stuttgart, Brian Zajak, aka Fejká, began his musical career at the age of 17. Torn between the atmospheric vibe and the calm of ambient music, as well as the state of absolute ecstasy that provokes the powerful beat of techno, Fejká couldn’t decide which direction his music production would take. Thus, he decided to experiment with both.

Drawn to artists such as Christian Löffler, HVOB and Kiasmos, the appeal of his style lies in its varied influences, and ability to harness the best of two contrasting genres. It was Christian Löffler himself who approached him, leading to his Debut EP "Twilight" which was released 2017 on Löffler’s Label Ki Records. 

His highly anticipated Debut Album "Reunion" has just been released, also on Ki Records. It is a hugely expansive record that frequently shifts gears between driving rhythms and endless soundscape. Fejká developed a sound with a rich sense of song-craft & melody alongside his ambient deep-house foundations, and we’re happy to hear one of his album tracks in this mix.
