Hello friends! 
We started the summer season on the beautiful rooftop of Kleingarten, Istanbul. It was the grand opening of the year so it was very crowded and super fun to play!

This was our first hybrid set in a loooong time (since 2016 actually) and a challenging experience but in the end it was a rewarding one. We're grateful for everyone who got in the mood with us, danced, and shared joy! 

Many thanks to the original artists who inspired us to play guitar, synths and various samples on top of their wonderful craft. 
And of course thanks to the Klein and Kleingarten teams who made this happen in the best possible way!

Risen from Istanbul’s underground in 2016, Anatolian Sessions is conquering the scene with his signature style, a dreamful blend of Anatolian music, eclectic and spiritual elements and electronic music. His music caught the interest of imprints such as Akumandra, Art Vibes Music, Buddha-Bar, Pipe & Pochet or Souq Records.

Today the restless producer and DJ has made his clear mark in Istanbul’s deep house scene and started with first international appearances. Definitely one to keep an eye on!

The Berlin-based producer Dolph has been crafting an unique style over the years, also has been releasing solid and interesting material in several labels. Our single-track release series, 'Freebie', includes one of his productions, in fact, Dolph remixed the original 'Shakana' by Steffen Kirchhoff. So, for this 158th edition we're having again his irresistible production and now getting to know more about his selection, nevertheless, this time with a long session of two hours. Not to mention that what you hear as this mixtape was recorded on 28 July @ 3000Grad Sommerlager at Birgit & Bier. Have fun.

I have little words. Thrilled to have done my first pilot of audio and visuals a complete and epic journey, triggering the senses. Today we welcome a true storyteller behind the Schirmchendrink counter: DERSU honors Schirmchendrink with his sensational cocktail named “Between the Sheets”!

It was many months back when we got in contact and first listened one of DERSU’s sets. This one was called Africa. As fans of beautifully crafted DJ mixes it was clear that we wanted him on the show.  

DERSU is a creative mastermind telling stories trough film, animation, design, and music. His career led him from sports apparel design to art, film and music. He discovered his passion for the latter as creator of Witness This, an art and culture magazine. 

His most recent projects include NightCause, a monthly dance party on the West side of L.A. where 100% of the proceeds are donated to charity, and, Wish You Were Here, a daytime party series in Venice Beach. He also is one half of the duo Peace in Noise.

Between the Sheets covers many emotions and moods, it's deep and taps into a more industrial and minimal berlin sound, with touches of spiritual and also very heart filling anthems near the end. 

You can literally tap into the emotions as it’s reflecting DERSU’s personal journey as of lately: challenging, scary, dark while also being incredibly beautiful, expansive and light.

Hello World!

I could write down a short novel about what happened during this truly historical last year, but I'd rather like to let the music speak. With the world locking more or less down around me, I finally had a lot of time to spend in my studio. I'm happy to share with you this 1h-studiomix inclunding some of my originals & a few tracks I'm in love with.

We are kicking off 2021 with an old friend of ours: Valeron

Generally recognized as the top DJ on the island of Mykonos, Valeron is definitely one of the longest standing and most omnipresent figures of the ever-shifting local music scene.

Soon after relocating to Mykonos, he became a producer releasing tracks that helped register his name in the Deep House and Electronic genre. This carried him through to becoming a founder of the Bercana Music label and releasing 2 personal albums already “Amare” & ‘’Aigaio’’. Valeron’s albums introduce a unique combination of traditional Greek instruments and Electronic beats.

Every Saturday at Scorpios Mykonos Valeron leads ‘’Scorpios World’’ where he performs live alongside Greek musicians of instruments such as the clarinet, violin, Ney,Bouzouki, Saz, Oud,Santur and many more. With lots of originals and remixes that had climb on top of Beatport charts, on May 2019 he will release his third personal album.
