Biography:
My name is Zander.
I'm a part English/Italian; professional DJ, producer and promoter, born in the sunny Midlands town of Stoke-on-Trent.
This year in particular seems to be going great so far for me, with Miami WMC plays and Original tracks released on Florida based Digital Vinyl Recordings.
A closing set play from Tiefschwarz at the Manchester Warehouse Project of my Donna Summer Remix; which was featured on the Flora Gucci advert.
Major support and plays from the likes of Loco Dice, Laidback Luke, Alistair Whitehead, Mark Doyle to name just a few; on various tracks including his Original Tracks and Remixes of ‘Treasure Fingers - Lift Me’ and ‘Eurythmics – Sweet Dreams’. Radio plays have even stretched as far as Brazil. ‘Fashion TV’ have picked up on my work and I have featured on many shows. Recent signings from the classic Trance Label 'Hook and Bellboy Records’, has also given me plenty of Remix work to do.
I started making digital music early 2007 and absolutely love it.
I produce a mixture of original house records and also create mash-ups and personal remixes and edits.
I'm constantly remixing for labels at the moment; which is probably where I’m most comfortable. I really like putting my personal touches and my own particular sound on existing tracks; so if you want me to remix for you then feel free to get in touch.
I produce records under several different aliases:
‘Def Stunt’ (Original Tech-House, Techno and Progressive-House productions).
‘Zander Mazuka’ or ‘Zander’ (Original House productions).
‘Mazuka Mash’ and ‘Midlands House Mafia’ (Mash-up’s, edit’s and cheeky remixes that I probably shouldn't be touching or tampering with).

On 3rd April 2011, something happened that involved two electronic musicians,
Facebook, and a good idea.
The musicians: abeZilla and AppleMax
The idea: to put on a gig showcasing local live electronic music.

How to do this and organise it: Facebook...
...a couple of days later and we had enough people to play quite a few gigs...

<morph>ONE took place on May 1st, at the legendary Adelphi in Hull, and was well receieved which has led us to organise more events, with a diverse selection of electronic music acts taking to the stage everytime.

In addition, and to showcase the talent we have on the scene here in Hull, I decided to
record some podcasts, which will be made available soon


Officially launched in October 2009, we aim to promote primarily electronic music from across the world.

Once we get started with releases, we will be giving away free releases, and selling releases, all of top quality music.

Posh One started DJing back in the late 90s, starting out with a friend doing a pirate radio station in Birmingham.

Later putting on a few nights at Circos in Birmingham City Centre as well as DJing at other bars in and around the city, his blend of downtempo breaks and electronic music as always been well suited to these sort of environments.

Towards the end of the nineties he moved to Leeds and meet up with alot of like minded individuals in the music industry, breaking through doing warm up sets for the likes of Meat katie, Speculum and many others aswell as winning the IDJ Magazine bedroom mix compilation awards in 2000 helped him to move towards putting on his own nights in Leeds and return to Birmingham to form various nights including Birminghams only Downtempo Lounge night at The Bullshead Moseley Happy Cycling.
