The Eartheogen remix of Grouchie's 'Hyperion' is pure class. Eartheogen's sense of minimalism is strong throughout the journey of this track, making it a must play in any early morning prog session. Baseline chug, intricate percussion, bubbly synths that would make you dig some holes about it in the morning at the dewf.

I wrote this song playing around with a filthy Behringer trio. The K-2, the Neutron and the TD-3-SR. A swampy and squelchy atmosphere was the result, highlighted by some slippery acid creatures.

New years of 2022/2023 Doonz and I went on a roadtrip through the south island of Aotearoa (New Zealand) following Twisted Frequency Festival.
We stayed for 3 days in a cottage and we started a new tune. Working on headphones we kept hearing these psychedelic sounds, the strange thing was, they weren't coming from our computers. We went outside and saw these small little birds that sounded just like FM Synth sounds. It turned out to be a small bird called a dunnok. These birds were sitting on bunches of grass known as Tussock.
In the song you can hear samples of these birds along with many sounds inspired by them and their beautiful ecosystem.

A project borne of curiosity and sonic exploration, Scionaugh brings together a perfect balance of alien, instrumental and organic sounds that are equal parts groovy, driving and playful, the sonic sorcery of Scionaugh provides a dancefloor experience like no other. 

The notorious mad scientist of Australian bush prog is renowned for his knowledge of sound theory and mathematics, something immediately evident in the clean complexity of his production. This knowledge has also formed the foundation of his Sektion Sound channel, through which he teaches sound design, waveform theory, and audio production.

Throughout his career as a producer, Scionaugh has enchanted dancefloors across major festivals, including Earth Frequency, Esoteric, Elements, Bohemian Beatfreaks, Twisted Frequency NZ, Elysium, Groove and Bass CAN, and Wild Horses. Along these adventures, he has performed alongside scene heavyweights including Grouch, Electrypnose, Twisted Sibling, Pspiralife, Ryanosaurus, Sumiruna, Smilk, and Sensient. 

As well as these live performances, the Scionaugh project has released music on Universal Tribe Records AUS, Alpaka Muzik CAN, Weapon Records AUS, Technophobia Records ISR, Padang Records BRA , Sentimony Records LV, Visionary Shamanic Records UK, Jaira Records AUS, Mindscape ESP , Dense Nebula ZA, Tranquil Sounds AUS and Khao Records AUS. This extensive discography is a journey through the development of the Scionaugh sound, showcasing the depth and breadth of his curiosity and experimentation over the years.
