I wrote this song playing around with a filthy Behringer trio. The K-2, the Neutron and the TD-3-SR. A swampy and squelchy atmosphere was the result, highlighted by some slippery acid creatures.

Once upon a time in the heart of a bustling city, there was a small recording studio tucked away on the top floor of an old building. The studio belonged to a passionate and somewhat eccentric music producer named Alex. Alex had a reputation for pushing the boundaries of music, experimenting with unique sounds and rhythms.

One sunny afternoon, as the city buzzed with life below, Alex found inspiration striking like lightning. The melody in their mind was vivid and electrifying, begging to be brought to life. Without hesitation, Alex rushed to the studio, fired up the equipment, and began crafting what would become the most captivating 8-bar loop they had ever conceived.

The loop was filled with layers of intricate beats, pulsating bass, and ethereal synth melodies that danced in perfect harmony. Hours turned into days as Alex immersed themselves in the creative process, sculpting the perfect sonic landscape. But as they listened back to the loop on repeat, they realized something unexpected had joined the composition—a wasp.

In the midst of their creative fervor, a curious wasp had flown into the studio, drawn by the vibrations of the music. Unbeknownst to Alex, the wasp had become entranced by the hypnotic loop, circling around the studio in a synchronized dance with the beats. For a moment, Alex was perplexed by the unexpected collaborator but soon found the presence of the wasp strangely fitting.

Days turned into a week, and the wasp continued its dance, weaving through the notes and adding an unintentional but harmonious buzz to the loop. Alex, amused by the situation, decided to embrace the collaboration. They sampled the wasp's buzz, pitch-shifted it, and integrated it seamlessly into the loop, creating a truly unique and organic sound.

The loop, now featuring the unintentional contribution of the wasp, took on a life of its own. As word spread about Alex's experimental masterpiece, the city's music scene buzzed with excitement (both metaphorically and literally). The wasp, unknowingly becoming a local celebrity, continued to visit the studio, contributing its buzz to subsequent creations.

And so, in this unlikely collaboration, a musical masterpiece was born—a composition that transcended the boundaries of conventional music, proving that inspiration could come from the most unexpected sources. The wasp, forever immortalized in the loop, continued to dance through the city's soundscape, leaving an indelible mark on the world of music.

What birthed as an idea between the 3 lads in an airport hotel room in Berlin over a year ago, has come to life, taking it's shape as 'Shop Talk'. A body of music that represents the merge of styles between Tom Baker, Unknown Concept and Jedidiah. 

This collab between our resis is part of the 15-track, At The Crossroads, Vol. 09 VA on Digital Structures, compiled by our very own Jedidiah. This release also officially marks him as the label's co-manager alongside Yuli Fershtat.

Trigitaliz, also known as The Digital Wizard, is a non-sensical electronic music producer who emerged from the depths of the alternate dimension in 1999. With a sound that defies all logic and reason, Trigitaliz combines elements of EDM, glitch hop, and experimental noise to create a truly chaotic listening experience.

He started his career as a inter-dimensional traveler, experimenting with different frequencies and soundwaves from different realms to create his own brand of nonsensical, yet strangely addictive music. His tracks quickly gained a cult following among extraterrestrial entities and time-travelers, and he soon began performing live at intergalactic raves and festivals across the multiverse.

A project borne of curiosity and sonic exploration, Scionaugh brings together a perfect balance of alien, instrumental and organic sounds that are equal parts groovy, driving and playful, the sonic sorcery of Scionaugh provides a dancefloor experience like no other. 

The notorious mad scientist of Australian bush prog is renowned for his knowledge of sound theory and mathematics, something immediately evident in the clean complexity of his production. 

Throughout his career as a producer, Scionaugh has enchanted dancefloors across major festivals, including Earth Frequency, Esoteric, Elements, Bohemian Beatfreaks, Twisted Frequency NZ, Elysium, Groove and Bass CAN, and Wild Horses.
