Born in Buenos Aires and currently based in Montreal (CA), Jaijiu is an audiovisual artist influenced by the Argentine club sound, as well as its folklore and cumbia. His productions approach the rhythm in an edgy way, mixing his roots with current influences.

This release is intended for an imaginary and confined dance floor. It is danceable, while groundbreaking and uncomfortable, as the audio is pushed to the limit in search of drowning out all thoughts in volume and excess. In Jaijiu's words, “the louder it gets, the less I hear what's in my head.”

“42 AM” captures the distorted sound of our previous releases, but also brings kuduro, Latin music and noise to the table. It will be available as digital download via Nodo Label.

"Starseed Child" is the second release from the Copenhagen-based duo J Sliwa consisting of artists lighyer and jjjacob. The EP is a new direction for the duo as it engages with a more dreamy and emotional expression of sound by means of including hyperpop melodies, reverbed autotune vocals and uncanny sound effects. This transformation in style was inspired by alien encounters, psychedelic journeys and the current situation we as humans stand in and before. The alienation and isolation brought on by the global pandemic inspired the duo to look inward and engage with their affective landscapes artistically, giving them hope and grounding in times of challenge and intense complexity.

This EP is the only release from the duo in the last two years since their debut EP on THRDEYEVSN "Eternal Now", described as a melancholic dream trance excursion into the ecstatic europop and gothic dance of the 00s. Their debut EP "Eternal Now" received attention from media platforms such as Resident Advisor and AQNB, which led to bookings by crews Sutra Club (Belgrade) and Soul Feeder (Milan). Apart from this, the duo has recently made contributions to compilations from labels Rhizome, kepasaparadoks and katharsis.

"Starseed Child" will be released on the 22nd of November through jjjacob's label katharsis, including an exquisite video for the track "Angels of Love" made by the talented Morph-affiliated CGI-duo Organs named they like you.

Following releases on Eternal Dragonz and Gãy, ONY’s Children of the Apocalypse was produced after a return from Vietnam in late 2019, through multiple lockdowns, up until the present day. 

Children of the Apocalypse takes its name from a documentary about the enduring multigenerational destruction caused by the US military, who dumped Agent Orange herbicide over a third of Vietnam during the War. Circling personal narratives and family migration throughout the EP, the cover artwork is a portrait taken by ONY of his grandmother in her old flat in Montpellier, where she moved to as a refugee alongside his grandfather and their seven children. Defined by its heavily textural atmospherics and cinematic composition, Children of the Apocalypse serves as an attempt to in ONY’s words: “soundtrack the video game I will never create and a reflection on my family history, what it means to be Vietnamese in the south of France.”

ONY (Thierry Phung) is a DJ and producer who has been crafting stories on his genre-bending monthly NTS show since 2015. He mines whatever he finds to craft an immersive and strange musical environment. His shows are by turn dark, ethereal and uncanny, often all at once.

With the double compilation “Infinite Summer: Ekstase & Fantasi”, katharsis celebrates the return of raves and concerts to society after a long period of pandemic shutdown. A magical summer has passed filled with an incredible pallet of emotional material, ready to be expressed. Therefore, we encouraged a collection of artists we adore to channel their imagination of the greatest way to conclude an endless summer night into a piece of music.

This resulted in a grand assemblage of harmonious manifestations, naturally splitting into two divisions with opposing focuses. On the first part of the duology “Ekstase” coming out on September 20th, we are presented with fourteen tracks for the dancefloor in an array of different styles, ranging everywhere from energetic morning vibes on the junglish opener “Origin, Gate's Dawn” by Yem Gel to hardcore sensations on Mang’s trap-infused roller “Based Halo”.
