This one is for my best mate - someone who’s been in my life for more than thirty years. Ade’s asked me for a mix for ages, but I think I needed all that time just to choose which tracks to put on the damn thing, as he loves music as much as me and wanted to give a spread of the music we both love.

It’s a little tribute to the life we’ve lived together - the adventures, the heavy conversations, the times we held each other up (him, more than me), and the countless moments that somehow stitched our lives together.

There aren’t many people you grow alongside in this world. Ade is one of them. Someone who’s seen every version of me and never flinched. Someone I love like a brother, and someone I’ll always stand by.

This is for everything we’ve been through, and everything still ahead of us.
