-このミックスはどちらでどのように制作されたのですか？


今回のミックスは僕のベットルームで録音したんだ。
子供の頃にカセットデッキでDJミックスの真似事を始めてから、しばらくしてガールフレンドにレコードでミッ
クステープを作ったよ。僕は2001 年頃に自分のDJミックスを"pogosessions"と名付けて作る様になったんだ。
2005年位からAbleton Liveを使う様になってその時のDJミックスは実際にCDとしてリリースされた物もあるよ。
最近の”pogosessions”はコンパクトの soundcloudで聴けるよ。DJミックスでは僕の作る音楽のインスピレー
ションとなるし、実際にクラブでDJプレイする為の準備になるん だ。


-このミックスのコンセプトがあれば教えて下さい。

聴いてくれる人と一緒に僕自身も楽しめる、コンパクトから新しくリリースされるテラノヴァの新作と友達のト
ラックをミックスしたよ。時々昔のクラ シック・チューンも入れてカット＆ペースト、レイヤー、、破壊と再
構築だね。


-最近の活動を教えてください。

新しいアルバム「Restless」をリリースするよ！
去年の夏にコンパクトのミヒャエル・マイヤーが２枚目のアルバムを作ろうと提案してくれて、リリースする事
になったんだ。その依頼を受けた時は、 同時に映画の音楽も頼まれていてあまり時間的な余裕も無かったんだ
けど、映画「インターステラー」を観に行ったらアルバムに対するモチベーション が一気に上がってきて2カ月
でこのアルバムを完成させる事が出来たんだよ。嬉しい事にアルバムのトラックは既にDJヘルやスヴェン・ヴァ
ス、ウエ ストバム等の友人DJにとても良いフィードバックを貰っているんだ。僕らの仲間のシンガー達も沢山
招いているよ。今回のアルバムも、これまでの僕 等のアルバムと同じくNASAのケプラーミッション（銀河系の
なかに地球型惑星がどのくらい存在するかを探求しているミッション）に強くインスパ イアーされた作品なん
だ。僕らはその新しい惑星に移住して新しいクラブをオープンさせてダンスしたいんだ！


-今後の予定を教えてください。

アルバムにも参加してくれた古くからの友人であるロンドンのステレオMCと一緒に彼の新しいアルバムを制作中
なんだ。新しいレーベ ル”connected"を作って彼をもう一度ダンスフロアに呼び戻そうとしているよ。9月には
今回のアルバム「Restless」のリミックス 作品がリリースされる予定でDJヘルやダニー・デイズ、アダム・
ポート等が参加しているんだ。そして今イギー・ポップとウエストバムの「Iron Music」のリミックスを作って
るよ。週末はいつもクラブでプレイしているし、、、そうそう、明日は僕の家のキッチンでBoiler Roomの撮影
をするんだ（笑）！

Scott Proper : One Of Those Late Nights

Andrew Claristidge, originally from Grenoble, member of Acid Washed (Record Makers/Paris) and Mount Kismet (Disco Halal) is a composer, producer, DJ and live performer. He was also involved in different acclaimed projects like Sex In Dallas, Los Massieras, Strangelets, etc. His music oscillates without any frontiers, from Techno to Pop, Ambient to Electro and Psychedelic experiments to New Wave. Andrew delivered us this mix with the name 'Dance Epidemix' already a while ago. A different connotation of the title obviously appeared for us in the meantime. The perfect mix to kick off our Bordello Radio series for 2020 and infuse us with a great selection of music in some difficult times. Enjoy!
