Welcome to a brand new interview series called The Big Questions, wherein I interview people whose work has directly affected my own and many others lives, and try to get inside the mind of some of the most influential and overlooked creators out there.

In this pilot episode, I was honoured to speak to Matt Gardner and Pete Gresser, probably best known for their viral web-cartoons of the mid-2000s released under the banner of "Floating Hands Studios". 

Matt is an author, the mind behind the best-selling adventure novel Alabaster Shadows (available to purchase online!) and Pete is a composer, working on various video games, films and series for years. They are also happily married and have been together for 22 years. 

In this open, honest interview they talk about their inspiration for the Floating Hands cartoons, their love of comics and pop culture oddities, how they met through the internet and what they have planned for the future. An awesome chat, I hope you enjoy listening to it!
