I wrote a song for a close friend of mine. Her 20-year-old son took his own life, and it was an unimaginable loss. It’s hard to put into words, but all I could think of was how 20 years disappeared in one night. This song is dedicated to him.

Best Days of My Life is a song about recapturing the carefree spirit of youth & cherishing the good times.  My experience as a youngster included the simplest of things like playing sports & spending time with friends, and dreaming about what could be. For me good times with friends fostered good values. We studied and learned together while enjoying life without the pressures of being a grown up. Mine is a simple story that I hope most people can relate to . Based in Detroit, Scott Christy is a seasoned singer-songwriter and producer with a rich history in the music industry. From his early days in junior high school, Scott has been actively involved in various musical projects, showcasing his talent and passion for creating memorable music.

Scott's career took off with his first label deal at Elektra Records, where he was the frontman for the band "The Heart Throbs." The Heart Throbs gained significant recognition, touring alongside iconic acts such as The Romantics, Ramones, Stray Cats, Eurythmics, Joan Jett, Modern English, and The Tubes. 

As a founding member and guitarist of Skeleton Crew, Scott marked another milestone in his career, releasing the album *Prehistoric Dig* under Intersound Records. Skeleton Crew's impressive journey included reaching the semi-finals of Star Search, where they famously outperformed Destiny’s Child, and securing several Detroit Music Awards. This dynamic band had the privilege of opening for numerous national acts, including Eddie Money, Foreigner, Robert Palmer, Kenny Loggins, and Tesla.

In addition to his work with these remarkable bands, Scott contributed three songs to the *X-mas in Detroit* compilations released by Harmony Park Studios. He also founded and produced the hard rock band Ballz Deluxe, which has released four albums and shared the stage with notable bands like Queensryche, Hinder, Pop Evil, Buck Cherry and Sponge. 

With several song placements in films and a continuous effort to network and connect with fellow musicians, Scott Christy remains dedicated to producing and placing innovative music in various media. His commitment to the craft and collaborative spirit make him a true asset to the music community.
