On June 20, 2025, deep in the river-carved hollows of Long Creek, SC, Scott Low & The Southern Bouillon tore through a raucous, full-band set for a wild crew of Wild Water raft guides, turning a muddy patch of woods into a Southern-fried revival. With slide guitar dripping soul, harmonies rough-edged and raw, and a rhythm section that hit like whitewater, the band matched the energy of a crowd fresh off the rapids—dancing barefoot, hoisting beers, and howling choruses into the night. From extended jams to intimate acoustic moments, it was less a concert than a communal exhale, where strangers turned into family and the music flowed as freely as the Chattooga River beside them.

It was just me and my stand-up bass player, Fisher, performing for an intimate crowd of seven at a cozy country club setting. But don’t let the size fool you—this room was filled with energy, emotion, and sound that ran deep.

This bootleg-style live session was recorded straight from the floor—no studio polish, no overdubs, just honest music. Fisher’s upright bass laid down warm, resonant grooves while I poured heart and grit into every lyric and riff. Together, we created a soulful atmosphere that felt more like a late-night living room jam than a stage show.
