Didn't. Let the Haters stop his career. I admire them both for their creativity &  talents...Elton is an accomplished pianist 
 too...

This singer/writer, pianist has written + sung      so many great songs thru. the decade, as he plays the piano,,
plus he was funny on stage w/Bette Middler + Cher. 

Some tracks are made for ever! people love to sing it.
