The good is - after a prolonged ‘COVID times’ induced hibernation period - we’re back! And to welcome us back Kibosh has kindly emptied his robot studio of all the odds and ends that he's been keeping 'somewhere safe’, to serve up this rip thumping summer funk-stroller ‘Struck’ - which is yours for free! Oh no, you're very welcome!

The bad news is you're going to have to actually get dressed*, put on your pants, roll up your sleeves and join us on the dancefloor! It's ok, it's in our back garden, don't worry about the wasps, we've got them drunk on ginger tears. Tinlicker are back with a five track strong EP “Like No Other” out on 1st December on Feed Me’s label Sotto Voce. Piloted by Micha Heyboer (of Black Sun Empire fame) and Mike Luck, the robot has sat in the depths of his studio working away to create this masterpiece.

The EP title alone matches the project to perfection, a project which serves up a variety of modern gleaming techno, 80’s triplet bass and ethereal synths then further takes you down a dark path with its reoccurring dark driving drum features. It’s fair to say the EP is a showcase of how well the pairing work together and their versatility as producers, a versatility that places them right at home amongst the Sotto Voce family.

Mr Stabalina is a happy man and it’s infectious. He only seems to make good-time music that causes immediate engorgement and big cheesy grins. http://soundcloud.com/Spinforth started his weekly* Scour for the http://soundcloud.com/Ghettofunk website back in January 2011, assisted by fellow Hong Kong Ping Ponger's Morphosis and Fat Harry. His quest was to seek out the choicest cuts from the freshest, often unheard of, producers ploughing their trade on SoundCloud. The Scour soon blossomed into a bit of a phenomenon, unearthing some of the finest producers to not yet have their tracks out in the DJ scene!

With incredible numbers of people checking out the weekly* posts, it seemed a logical next step to set up a brand new digital label, showcasing, and officially releasing, the creamiest of the crop of The Scour. Boom! http://soundcloud.com/scourrecords was born!

Expect all Scour traditions to be upheld throughout the initial releases; selection process, BPM order, making up of new words, a touch of nepotism from time to time, it's all here.
