In the last few weeks of October 2022 Scrimshire wrote a new collection of songs with the descriptive working title "Scream". A direct response to the absurdity of the breakdown in the UK government, the horror of the treatment of refugees arriving on our shores and the callous disregard for the trauma being caused to anyone considered "other" - class, skin colour or otherwise. Self-preserving conservative MPs fought for their jobs, record profits were announced by energy companies, while gouging crippling amounts of money from people's pockets, the sense of living in a dystopian fantasy was frequently overwhelming.

Originally named “Scream 8”, Unity Gain was one of the early outpourings from those sessions. Piano and drums bubble up until it fully boils over with huge stabbing synthesiser and string sounds in an outburst of frenetic energy. One of Scrimshire's most powerful deliveries to date.

Unity Gain follows, 2022s Music for Autumn Lovers and the much loved 2021 album Nothing Feels Like Everything.

"Paracosm 3" is the most personal chapter yet in Pueblo Vista’s ongoing journey through sound and memory. Released on Paul’s wedding anniversary, the album serves as both an ode to the birth of his inner world and a reflection on the profound loss of his wife ~ the spark that gave rise to this paracosm. Spanning 15 tracks, including four with vocals, the record expands far beyond lofi conventions, weaving hip hop, drum’n’bass, breakbeat, and unexpected influences into a rich, emotional tapestry. Smooth atmospheres and cinematic textures balance with restless rhythms, creating a duality that mirrors grief and growth. Paul’s closest friend, @lampros_mak (aka Milo Maven), played a pivotal role in the instrumentalization, giving shape and depth where Paul’s limited instrumental skills left space for collaboration. The result is Pueblo Vista’s most ambitious and emotionally layered release to date ~ a deeply human album that drifts between pain, memory, and transcendence.

A live, 92-minute improvised session by Laraaji based on his 1984, Vision Songs material. Until now only fragments of Vision Songs have been released, tracks such as “All Of A Sudden” found their way into the New Age / Ambient music scene. Owing to it’s unique sound, it became an underground hit and there’s more where it came from. This crossover of New Age and Gospel Soul, led by Laraaji’s vocals – channelling meditations of new thought - is distinctive in his discography. Here, you'll find a recording capturing the spirit of a particular moment in time: of Laraaji playing Vision Songs to an intimate audience 32 years after it was first recorded in his Manhattan bedroom.

Edition of 300, includes a risograph inlay with lyrics and a photographic insert card.
